I've read that somewhere in Epcot there are awesome margarita's, does anyone know where they can be found? ;)

The best are actually in the San Angel Inn Restaurant in the Mexican Pavillion.

If you like frozen ones, the ones at Cantina San Angel aren't too shabby, either. We just prefer the ones on the rocks.

The BEST margarita we have had (bar none) was at Narcoosee's. It is scratch and handshaken. Can be a bit dangerous, too!!!:p

I just had a fiesta one outside the cantina at Epcot. It was layeres of 4 flavors.. Tasty but didn't make me at all loopy.

Well we weren't planning on eating there...but "dangerous" is almost worth the short trip from the Poly to GF to indulge! :p

Thanks!!

That sounds mighty yummy!! ;)

The layered, fiesta margaritas outside Mexico are DW's present favorite. They are not in the Cantina, but actually at a stand by the little lakeside store on the way to Norway. The ones inside at San Angel are really good, too.

We must have been there on a different day. DH and the couple we traveled with had them. I abstained and it was a good thing... they were sooooo looped it wasn't even funny. I guess the heat didn't help but DH is a BIG man and it normally takes A LOT to get him tipsy. We were lucky we made it "around the world". :p They said they were rather good though. Maybe the CM was feeling pretty generous that day ;)

Thanks for the tip on Narcoosee's.:) Never thought to try a margarita there. Imho the old Juan and Only's at the Dolphin had a great selection of tequila and made some of the best margaritas.

I think I had them the same day you guys did! I was feeling no pain by the time we got to China ;)

I like frozen margaritas. The ones inside San Angel Inn are good as well as the ones at the Cantina. I'm pretty fond of the Cantina's taco salads too since when I've had them there they weren't skimpy and mostly lettuce like some you get at some places. These actually have plenty of the good stuff in them lol. So, give me one of those, a margarita and sit me by the lake to look across at all the countries and I'm a happy lady! I didn't think they had much alcohol in them either UNTIL I got up and started to walk. I wasn't loopy but could tell they had more punch to them than I thought ;-))

Yep, we had those layered ones at the cart outside of Mexico too, and they were REALLY good! Have to say I was feeling a bit loopy from one of them too! :D

Maybe I will have to give those another try.... oh and that taco salad sounds pretty yummy, too!:)

eeyore, are we going to be there at the same time? Our trip is march 27 - april 1st. when's yours? and where are you staying?

BluOrchid, we will be down there March 23-28. Not all parks, though! We will probably do parks parts of days, because I have a job interview (I still haven't gotten the date or time, as they only set them up 1 1/2 weeks in advance) and we are signing the lease on our apartment. We have AP's... so it really isn't costing anything for tickets. My DH will likely be in Epcot while I am at the interview and I will meet him there afterwards... for a drink... I know I will NEED IT!.

What time do you arrive on 3/27? We are thinking of MGM that day, or part of it, anyway.

We are committing the ultimate Disney sin and staying off property this time, as we have to watch the budget with moving. We are staying at Howard Johnson's East Maingate. Where are you staying?

Maybe we will see you there!

i've had good and bad margaritas at epcot. my only suggestion is...

beware the mango!
