Hey everyone! We will be on the Fantasy during Mardi Gras, does anyone know if DCL does anything on the ship that day? Also, do they do any services for Ash Wednesday? Thanks in advance

With Tiana's Place now on the Wonder, my guess is that would be the boat to be on for Mardi Gras. Not sure if it would be anything formal but they do a Mardi Gras type kids parade around the restaurant near the end of dinner after they hand out the beads.

We will be on the same cruise. I have not heard anything about Mardi Gras celebrations. That's the Tortola day, so I would imagine any Mardi Gras festivities would be sparsely attended, with most folks headed into port.

I've never heard them doing anything specific for Mardis Gras. I believe for services they don't have official services but anyone on the ship can request space for a religious meeting so it is not uncommon for them to be on board. I have noticed that there are usually non-denomination christian services and Sabbath services on every cruise we have been on so ash wednesday may have someone doing something it may just not be the traditional Catholic experience.

That sounds like fun!
