Looking for anyone from Mobile, AL going to WDW for Mardi Gras break. We are 1st timers going at this time looking for suggestions and tips to make the most of a 4 day vacation.....Thanks

What are the crowds usually like during mardi gras?

I've never been at Mardi Gras but might consider it if dh doesn't get a new job...we'll have to see. However, we are Annual Pass holders so that helps! PM me w/ any questions and I'll be glad to help!

It depends on when Mardi Gras falls. Last year it was very early and it was nice. The year before, it was extremely crowded but still doable. This year, I think that it will be somewhere in the middle. But, crowds never stop us. It just changes the way that you have to plan your days.

Just a suggestion since you are going during Mardi Gras, think about staying at the POFQ. It is decorated with that theme and will keep you in the mood even though you are miles (and crowds) away from it all!

I can understand that but you will be surprised at the amount of people that decorate everything from their strollers, cars and room windows to themselves. If you are up for it, they have a small parade usually around 1 at POFQ. It is very funny because it is a bunch of decorated golf carts that throw beads. You can check at the front desk of your hotel for the time.
