I see that they mention food and drink samples...does it include alcoholic drinks?

Thanks!

Yes, the lanyard can be used for all tasting-size food and beverage items, including alcohol in the specialist MG booths.

From the reviews coming out, the only thing mentioned that hasn't been included are the 24oz bloody marys, the 9oz appear to be though. It seems to be an even more amazing value this year!

I'm getting the lanyard for the first time later this month. The reviews are really good so far, I can't wait!

I’m sold on the lanyard too! $55 for 10 or if you’re an AP holder $65 for 15
So anything over $5.50 or $4.33 respectively is a deal. If it’s less pay out of pocket

ive seen it’s not good at the themed store‘s food. I forget it’s name.

And it doesn't expire. So if you do not use all credits on the lanyard, you can use it next year on Mardi Gras. Additionally, at any time of the year, you can use the credit for pretzels, popcorn, and bottled water at any food stand throughout the parks. So it's a win-win.

We used it on Saturday and it was great. We did the $65 option for 15 items, which easily gave my wife and I enough for lunch, dinner and some drinks. We also overate a bit, to be honest, but didn't know when we would be able to come back. All of the options we picked up were also quite tasty, making this a great value.

Looked at the beer list on the menu, and there are some very good options. I'm looking forward to them as much as the food. I like going to the resort and CityWalk restaurants, but we might be doing quite a few lunches and dinners at the MG booths.

Only 2 days until we're back again!

I’am here now and I bought the AP lanyard 15 for $ 65.00. Great deal. All the food I have sampled so far is delicious.

Any favorites?

The New Orleans Crawfish and Shrimp boil was yummy.

At Canada the Beef Short Rib Poutine was delicious.

Colombia Carnitas Arepas very tasty

New Orleans Muffaletta Sandwich delicious.
I hope u took pics for a TR

The menu sounds amazing. So fun... wish we were going to be there. Maybe next year.

I definitely recommend the tasting lanyard! It was a great value and I loved a lot of the tastes! So much fun!

I've read that the food booths are spread throughout the parks this year. We were there for he previous one, and I would have preferred to have them spread out.

That's correct - spread out throughout USF (not IOA.) I love that they are spread out - makes for a nice atmosphere of treats around the park.
