Has anyone of you ever signed up and been chosen to ride in the parade? When do they usually let you know if you have been chosen? I have signed up for the one on Feb 6th, however if we are chosen to ride in it then I will need to leave a day earlier. I am ok with that but I would like a little notice.

We have never been on a float. DH actually signed us up to be on a float this year. I believe he said that if you are picked they will let you know 4 days in advance. I hope this helps. Have a great time!

AP members can sign up early.

Darn. Not getting AP until we get there. Even then, where do we "sign up" for a chance to be on a float?

Can you sign up others in your party that aren't AP's? My son and I are, but our friend that is going is not.

yes you can.

there is always the chance you have a shot at it if they have openings.

Yep, as a AP holder I can sign up the AP holder plus on guest.
