I could swear I saw a post about this but now I can't find it (yes I searched).

Does anyone know what times the parades run? This would be during next week (so weekday, pre-spring break, winter hours, not a concert night). I have a memory of seeing that it's at 6:45p. But would this be true even if the park closes at 7?

If it IS true, and we wanted to have dinner outside the park then come back in for the parade, would they let us in after 6 with a closing time of 7?

Thanks in advance!

Just like for the Cinema Spectacular, you must be IN THE PARK at closing time to enjoy the parade.

However, for about the 2 hours before the parade (if I'm remembering right), you can see many of the silt walkers travelling through the parade to get to the starting point and most will stop and take pictures with you. We found hanging out by The Mummy to be the best place to see them.

Okay, but if closing time is at 7pm, what's the latest they let people in the gates?

7:00

But aim for 6:59

When it is time to close you have to be inside the park

For rides, as long as you are in the ride line you are allowed to stay in the line to do the ride

Tm will close ride lines entrances promptly at closing time

I'm thinking the parade time fluctuates. Sunday and Monday were 6:45, but Tuesday was 5:45.

From the website:

See it every night. The parade rolls through the streets of Universal Studios on 50 nights of Mardi Gras.

2/7: 5:00pm

2/5, 2/6, 2/8 - 2/10, 2/12 - 2/17: 6:45pm

2/20 - 2/24, 2/26 - 2/27, 3/1 - 3/3, 3/6 - 3/10: 7:15pm

2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/19, 2/25, 2/28, 3/4, 3/5, 3/11 - 3/25: 7:45pm

Does the parade replace the Nighttime Spectacular on those nights? Is the parade "worth seeing?" I know that's subjective. :)

I saw the parade the night it started

And worth doing once each season

I enjoyed it as I watched it in an area that had low crowds
(Near the beginning of the route)
