mardi gras music

we will be at US for last nite of mardi gras---the blues travelers are playing--where do they play? are there seats? thanks!!!

Generally there are not any seats,standing only. The stage is over by Mel's Dine In right in front of the lagoon. Should be a good show, I'll be there as well.

The park closes at 8pm. At 8pm the parade starts and the band should take the stage right after the parade ends. I think I'm going to try to get a good spot near the stage around 7:30 or 8:00 depending on the crowds.

If you've never seen Blues Traveler live (or heard of them at all), they are an excellent band. I generally only listen to metal and hard rock, but it's hard not to like this band. There music is decent and their shows are great. Expect them to play all their popular songs as well as several popular cover songs.

thanks for the info! sure i have heard of blues travelers--(hasnt everybody?)--my son and husband are both musicians too--we will have to see the parade up close with my 6 yr old---maybe the 17 yr old will get us a spot at the stage---or not--
