Hey everyone!
I'm going to Disney for the second time February 14-20! It's been 15 years since I've been! :yay:

Anyway I was wondering when, where, and what time most of the Mardi Gras events occur? We are planning on spending time in MK that day and I'm trying to plan fastpasses!
Thanks in advance! :lovestruc

When we went for Mardi Gras 2 years ago, I int recall there being any special events. You can check all the show schedules for each park but I don't think there is anything...could be wrong through! :)

As far as I know the only events that take place for Mardi Gras are at Port Orleans. There are a lot of people who flee New Orleans to visit disney world.

Hi! Welcome to the DIS.

Since you're new I thought you'd like to know that crowds should be very large during those dates. Mardi Gras falls the day after President's Day this year. That means people who travel for Mardi Gras (gulf state residents) and people who get a President's week break (everyone else) will be there at the same time, compounding an already busy President's Weekend.

Crowd predictor calendars show levels falling back to more like normal for Wed - Friday. But then Princess Half Marathon arrives for the weekend.

Make a good plan with Fastpass reservations for your must-dos and arrive before park opening. Eat at off-peak hours. You'll be fine, but pack your patience.

Have fun!!! We loved our February trip.

Oh I know! I'm one of those crazies from New Orleans haha. I wish I could have picked a less busy time but I'm in school so this was all I could do. I haven't had much trouble booking Fastpass+ and dining so hopefully things will go as planned.
