I got scolded again by a co-worker for taking up time with a Universal guest because they were not a customer of my company, but I had made my picture quota while the customer had a really good question as a concerned parent. The answer is not showing up on my search of this web site so I am going to ask the guest's question here.
A parent with little ones asked me about Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. I told her that I had heard that we had some of the same floats as Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Her husband made a bad face so I asked what was wrong. He said that New Orleans was not a good place for children so he did not want to take his family to Mardi Gras. I have been to the parade at Universal and saw nothing in it that I would mind taking a child to see and told thesee parents that Mardi Gras at Universal was family-friendly. Do you agree?
I have never been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but I am aware of its rowdy reputation. I told these parents that from what I had heard about Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama, Universal's version was much closer to that. Was I right?
