Mardi Gras and St. Valentines Day

Our Disney trip 2005 will be Feb. 5-20th. Looking through the calendar that means we will be in WDW arriving late on the 7th and leaving first thing in the morning on 18th. That also means we will be there for two park days of Mardi Gras and there for Valentines Day. We have been to Disney for both before but mainly by accident. I know they did the couples at EPCOT when we were there last time. Do they still do this? Do they do anything special at any of the other parks? When we were there for Mardi Gras they had a MAJOR parade and each country that celebrates Mardi Gras had something a little special. Do they still do that? Do they do anything at any other parks? 411 please!

I've never seen anything done in the parks, but Pleasure Island ususally does something for Mardi Gras, like a mini-parade with the bead throwing (without you having to do anything to "earn" the beads )

I visited WDW during Mardi Gras 2003 & if I hadn't seen all the other people from La. wearing purple, green & gold clothes & beads, I wouldn't have even known that it was Mardi Gras. However, I didn't go to Pleasure Island.

Now when we were there in, maybe 1997 they had Festival/Carival in Epcot with the whole Mardi Gras theme and beads you didn't have to work for and everything! It was awesome and I have been trying to get back to see it again. RATS!

Please tell me they still do something special for Valentines Day! Pretty, pretty, pretty please!
