Heads up to anyone planning to go today, there are already sizable crowds waiting by the concert area in numbers that haven't been seen before. Get there EARLY, before 5 if possible. It most definitely will hit capacity today if this trend continues.

Think our own Keishashadow is going there.......hope she's heard how busy it is and goes early......

Cannot even express how jealous I am of people who get to be there! They played at DH's work holiday party and just an hour-long set was intensely good.

The entire park did close at capacity around 7:00. The concert area was closed a bit before that.

yikes!

have friends there that txt me this afternoon that the boats running slow and park was very packed.
they decided to go back to the hotel for a break and return to the park around 5.
haven't heard back from them.

guesing they had a change of plans and didn't go back to the park.

It was insane! My daughter got in line at 9am. I left about 630 and the concert was closed, and there was still tons of people coming in.

We flew down for the weekend so my middle daughter could go to the concert. We made it to the park by 12pm and she and my husband were in the 4th holding area. It was totally insane. But she loved it so it was all worth it....I'm just not sure I would do it again. My younger daughter and I just made it back into the park before they closed for capacity. They had a merchandise booth set up and even the line for that was huge and that was long before the concert even started.

My DD and I were there and it was INSANE! We were told by staff at the Universal Store when we checked in for our shuttle on Friday night to get there by 4:00ish. We did, and I am so glad. We sat and waited for the parade for 2 hours (yuck) after riding Minion Mayhem and ran over to the concert area immediately following the parade. We were in the street and squished. My DD made it for about 6 songs, then we left. There were a lot of disappointed people; I saw the signs saying the area was closed. I am so glad we went back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon, we never would have made it after arriving at 8:15 for EE.
