Marco Island, AMI ,St Pete

We are now in full throttle trying to book hotels in these areas, so many to choose from though!
We have just booked our Key West hotel for 4 nights, then we will be heading for Miami for 2 nights then onto Marco island... Anna Maria etc
Any recommendations will be great!!

We love AMI but have only made day visits so can't help on the hotel front I'm afraid.

Isn't it funny how many of us are off to the Keys this year, I know of at least 10 other UK dissers who are heading that far south for the 1st time this year.

We are theme parked out after 14 yrs of hitting the parks! The kids are now all grown up so now its our time to have a relaxing holiday

although last September we went to Orlando with the grandchildren.. so you get rid of your kids and they come back with their own kids and full circle your back at Walt Disneyworld...... Charlie(3) keeps asking if we can take him back there again....2014 it will be now - nanny and grandad want to go to San Fran, Yosemite, Las Vegas first..

We are staying on AMI for 6 days this coming August.

We are renting a property through www.amgcrentals.com but if you email the AMI chamber http://www.annamariaislandchamber.org/ContactUs.aspx you will receive many recomendations direct from the available properties for your dates, alternatively just by looking on the chambers site you will find a number of properties available to you.

I had only one "must" and that was to be on the beach, not across the road or down a track, but actually on the beach.which we have

we have booked the pearl key west, it was a toss up between that and lighthouse court. Pearl looks very diverse..! have a look on priceline.com that is a brill website, recommended by my sister!
We are flying with Delta from Man to Atlanta to Key West. Staying 4 days in Key West-20th-24th Aug, then driving up to Miami for 2 nights, then across to the Gulf Coast.

Ah, so you're flying in to Key West. That makes sense. I couldn't quite fathom why you might want to drive all the way down there on arrival day if you were flying to Miami.

We aren't staying in Key West (although we are obviously going to visit) but are staying at the Hawks Cay resort on Duck Key.

We will be long gone from the Keys by the time you get there though - we will be at the RPR by then.
