I am taking my DD5 princess: and my DH30 :jester: for their first ever trip to Disney World in March (2-9). :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: I have read most of the unofficial guide (thanks Dawn!!!) :cool1: and it had some things in it that I hadn't thought of. I was wondering if maybe anyone knew what the crowds were really like during that time? I know we can't just wing it, but will I have to make a really strict plan and stick to it? Also is anyone else going to the world at that time?? :flower1:

Hi and Welcome to the DIS,

March is a great time to go, it should not be too crowded when you go that early in March. Weather may be a bit brisk so pack accordingly with some pants and a light sweater or jacket for evenings.

It is never necessary to make a strict plan, this is a vacation after all..:) Just familiarize yourself with the attractions by reading your Unofficial Guide and any other information here or on the internet. A good idea is to make a list maybe of things you really want to see, and another list of things it would be nice to see if you have time. Make a third list of things that you are not at all interested or that you do not care to ride. Carry this list in your purse or backpack, whatever you carry into the parks. Get to the parks early and have a good time... :flower1:

Overplanning can ruin a vacation faster than anything!! Be flexible and ready to change if you happen to see something you want to do instead, change your plans...Remember if you do not see all you want to see on this trip you can always go back... :flower1:
