The weather is still anyone's guess so bring both shorts and pants. We typically have weather in the 70s and 80s during the day but can get into the 50s at night.
We have been to Florida the last 5 years and we always bring shorts and pants like Metro West said. If you are coming from the North anything above 50 is warm and you won't care. I can't wait to head down and get out of the snow. So if it is 50 at night,we'll be the white legged folks wearing shorts and a sweatshirt, while the Floridians are in long slacks and jackets. We went to Florida the first year and we were swimming in ASMO pool and the steam off the pools was insane. The life gaurds were in parquets and mitts and hats and us Northern people (Canadians)were swimming. They likely thought we should all be committed
Here's hoping for warm weather! And since I'm from SC, I mean 80s! I so want to lay by the pool and catch a few rays, but my thin southern blood won't allow it unless it is in the 80s.
We've been to FL many times for spring break over the years. Sometimes in April, sometimes in March. We tried a water park once in March which was just too cold for us, but the April water park trips were quite pleasant. Like Metro said though it can be hit or miss in FL just like SC. We had 70s here over the weekend and now we are in the 50s today.
