I need help in deciding between first week in March and first week in May. I'm trying to find the "perfect" week. Low attendance is very important and swimming weather a factor. Last year we went the first week in May and found it a lot more crowded than we had expected. It seemed to thin out some the second week. I'm not sure what was going on the first week last year to bring in the crowds. I know it was grad night over the weekend. Would this have an effect? Please help me decide.

Go 1st week in May ..... WE ALWAYS GO!! its never real crowded... the longest we wait... 20 minutes for space mountain or rock n roll roller coaster.... but if your worried about that.. get the fast pass!! Its usually 85 degrees... anymore questions... e-mail!

Our first two trips were in May - wonderful weather, low crowds, just perfect!

I think May is a much better time to go, March weather can still be iffy and it not always warm enough to enjoy the swimming, not only that but many schools have spring breaks during that time. Also May is better since The Flower and Garden Festival is happening during that time. May is one of my favorite times of the year there.

I was there the first week of March and the first week of May this year and I would recommend May. Both were nice but there were a few iffy days in March, plus the Flower and garden show at Epcot in May is AMAZING! Have fun!

kangaandroo - How did the crowds compare from the March week to the May week? How cool were the "iffy" days? Thanks!!

I went the first week of March and the weather and crowds were fine. We were able to swim everyday. It did rain one of the 5 days but we stayed in the parks because it was that light. The high temp one day was 85! The average was 73 or so. In the mornings we wore shorts and a jacket so we could peel the layers off later. We think it was a great time to go. The longest wait was maybe 20mins for ToT and RnR. HTH!

WE just went this last trip in early May and it was wondeful! Great Florida weather-not too hot, great breezes, manageable crowds and good park hours! GO MAY! :Pinkbounc
