March vs April 2015?

Hi Everyone

DD12 and I, looking at coming either March 10-19 or April 11-21 (She doesn't know). On Touring Plans it looks like the April dates would be less crowded but I haven't been at either time. Last time was Feb 2011. Any insight or information I should consider when deciding?

Depends on when Easter is next year. Googling it, it'll be April 5th. The 11th-21st period may still be a little crowded as it seems to take a while for massive crowds to thin a little.

I would go in March. But I'm not biased or anything...

Your April dates would be less crowded than March, still busy though for spring breaks going on, March is crazy busy.

With the April dates, you will hit some crowds the week-end you arrive but after that it should thin out a ton and be much less crowded than the march dates. If it is possible, I would move the trip one more week out in April and avoid that end of Easter weekend crowd. Weather can be nicer in April too.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I will see if I can push back a little later in April. We have never done the Waterparks, would we be able to do those in April (keep in mind we are from Nova Scotia)?
