oh what a shame Kaz - we will keep our fingers crossed for you as well - sending you a big

From one Kaz to another, sending you plenty of    and pixiedust: ... I really hope your DH finds something ASAP...

Hope things work out and that you will still be able to go. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

oh no! i hope things work out quickly....how shocking when that happens..
hopefully something will come along right away...

:grouphug:

I must admit, with the credit crunch really coming home to roost at the moment, with petrol, and gas going up like their on steroids, if I had not booked and paid for it already I would not be going.

I know that this will be my last trip for at least 3 to 4 years, as there is no way I will be able to afford it next year with the costs the way they are.

I feel thats probably true for a lot of people, who had already booked.

But I hope it gets better, everything happens for a reason.

keep your spirits up kaz, i know how you are feeling my husband was made redundant 2 years in a row, the first time was whilst we were on holiday we came home to find the letter was on the mat, the second time was 2 days before we went away :scared1: as the holiday was paid for and we had the spending money we decided to go anyway. my husband found a job within about 6 weeks of getting home. so there is hope sending you lots of tlc, please keep your spirits you never know what is around the corner.

:grouphug:

Keeping everything crossed that a fantastic job will come along soon for your DH. Sympathies to you both, we've been in that situation on a lot more than one occasion:sad2: , but something bigger and better always seems to have been around the corner.

In the meantime, this is for you  :flower3:

When I am feeling down I always have a look in a newspaper I always find someone worse off with me, this helps me feel a bit better.:) I am sure things will work out for your husband, it cannot be pleasant at all.

why not post what he may be looking for in case someone has any ideas or can help. You never know..good luck anyway.

Thanks for all the well wishes - it really does make a difference. He is ex army and has Class 1 HGV license. Most recently driving car transporter but has had jobs elsewhere. He has also managed a pub, been an estate agent valuer, managed a petrol garage, been a care assistant, spray painter with fire protection, driver for the post office and willing to take basically anything until he can get back into driving again. He has also has a fork lift counterbalance accreditation . I think the main problem is finding a local base around Northumberland/Newcastle area - otherwise he is used to working away from home Mon-Friday

Sending you a  , and you never know things might turn out OK in the end ;)

I hope you get things sorted-but just think WDW will always be there :goodvibes .I hope he finds something soon.Take care.x.

Hope he finds somthing soon:wizard:
