March or May ?

We are planning a family vacation which was originally set for Nov 2005 with sister in law and family. I don't think I can wait that long so I am looking for a time when it is not so crowded in the spring months. Any ideas or experiences? Please share them- I can't wait until Nov 2005. It is why too far!!!!! Help!!!!!

Although I have never been in march or May (until next year) I'd vote for May due to March Spring Break and independent schools that also vacation in March. Annmarie

We have been in May many times, light crowds and always predictable warm weather, March can be iffy.

Early May is a great time -- but the word is getting out and it is getting popular. Generally, the weather is great with little rain and warm temps but not the humidity you get later in the month. School is in session so the crowds are lighter, though not empty.

March is very popular. The weather can still be "iffy" and the crowds are generally heavy.

The Flower Festival is also happening in Epcot during May. This makes for beautiful displays and also concerts on the American stage by folks like Davey Jones and The Turtles.

I was there in early March this year and also early May.

March - weather was great. Crowds were not bad.

May - 95 degrees everyday. Crowds were not bad.

Any time in WDW is a good time though

may, light crowds, easy to get ressies at the resorts, but dont wait last minute though, especially going with family

Hi there,

Our family loves to visit in mid-May. The weather is really nice, warm and not too humid. The crowds are very light and we never waited for more than ten minutes for any ride or attraction.

The flowers, topiaries and bonsai that were on display at Epcot were incredible.

Beware of the Memorial Day weekend if you are avoiding crowds.

They also have Star Wars Weekends in May.
