March or May?

We are hoping to visit Disneyland this year, hopefully for MSEP. We are a family of 6, me, DH, DD4, DD2, DD1 and DS3(months). It would either be March 23rd and 24th or mid May, probably 18th and 19th. Which would be better for crowds? I tend to suspect March will be busier. We are also weighing it against my 2 year old turning 3 in April. Will it be worth it to brave busier parks to save on a child ticket? I don't know. Figured I would see what the general consensus is!

Since you aren't going on the weekends, I'd go with March 23 and 24. I'd save on the admission and typical spring breaks don't start until the following week.

Actually, based on the amount of schools that now take a fixed break, such after 8 weeks of the winter session, or the 3rd week of March, You can run into some pretty large crowds on the March dates.

May dates would match up with on of the Grad events, which is now a full day ticket with a special after hours add-on, but it really comes down to a coin flip and luck on which one will be slower.

So other things, like you mentioned, plus the costs of flight and lodging would tome make the final decision, since we are comparing weekdays in the off season.
