March or July?

We have a pin code for the third week of March, and with Easter falling late in April, I was hoping the crowds would be slightly smaller than normal Spring Break times. I would love to take advantage of the code and go. I have never been during this time, and I have heard the crowds are huge. I have the other option of going in the summer, last week of July to be exact. I know the crowds can be big in the summer also. My DH and I both teach, so those are pretty much our only options. I was thinking even with the large crowds in March, I would be saving money on the room and the weather would be nicer. July humidity is not my favorite. We would have a few more days in the park in July, but the heat.........the heat! Anybody care to give some opinions about which one they would choose?

The third week of March will be crowded, but so will July. And as you said, the HEAT!!!! If it was me I would most definitely go in March; the weather should be wonderful. Good luck!

Even the locals have been complaining about how HOT the past few summers have been. I would definitely go in March.

I would pick March as well. Schools do have spring break in March but with easter being later in the year in 2011 I think March might be less crowded than usual.

I love disneyworld I dream about it night and day and wish I was there every second of the day..that being said I would NEVER go in the hot summer no way no how..not even if it was for free I personally could not deal with the heat.

First of all, heat and humidity doesn't bother me and I rarely sweat. We have gone in July the last 3 summers. That said, last summer I had sweat running down my legs at 7:30 in the morning waiting for MK to open. It was HOT! But we still had the time of our lives. If heat really bothers you, pick March.

:thumbsup2

We have done the third week of March, and we have done the first week of August. March is busier but not by enough to offset the huge weather differential in favor of March.

This Is kind of Funny,up untill this year we have always gone In March(DS spring break). This year We decided on going during the 4th of July, was It hot oh ya, but it was not un mangeable. we still got to do everything we wanted to do and the ac breaks in side the stores are a great break. 2011 we are planing our trip for late March, but we are also going In Oct for MNSSHP 2011. We actually got prepaird for the heat when we went to MNSSHP, Oct nof 2009 when they had record breaking heat. If heat bothers you, then diffnetly go with March. Butn If It does not, i say go with July. You will have more time, and the parks are open later. Really what ever time you chose you will have a ball, Its WDW what els would you expect.:cool1:

Crowds + Heat

OR

Crowds + Cool

My choice would be Crowds + Cool

I would go in March. I haven't been there in July, but on here there are lots of threads about Brazillian tour groups in July that sometimes seem scary!

We usually go in March over Spring Break, and the weather is great. Crowds are bad, but they're never TOO bad...

This year, Fiance and I went in March and July. The weather was obviously much cooler in March. We were able to enjoy the parks without the July heat. I'd go in March again if I had the option!
