Hello evryone!
My hubby and I are planning our next trip to Disney :cool1: for this coming spring and want to know when the good weeks in March and April are. I know there are spring breaks and Easter but if anyone will know what our best bet is it would be the people on this board :worship: . We will be staying at Fort Wilderness.

Our last trip was in Nov. during Jersey week. It was fine for us but we didn't have any idea when we booked it :confused3 . Trying to be more proactive this year.

thanks,
Cathy

I think you are best off going in early March before the college kids have spring break or late April.

Easter is Sunday 12th April 2009, so I would avoid the week before and the week after.

Last week of March is usually spring break around here and from everybody I heard from, it seemed to be THE busies spring break week down there. We were there ourselves April 6-10 and found it crowded. Do-able, but crowded...I would have picked to go way early March or way late April...it was cool though and people were disappointed that they couldn't swim.

Good luck planning!!!

Try checking the Unauthorized Guide...if you buy it, they will give you access to an online site with an estimate of the park busy-ness for every single day of the year (all 4 parks). That might help you as well...

I haven't been to WDW in March, but we were there April 10-14 this year. It was probably the most crowded of all our trips. I'd shoot for March. I don't think I'll go back in April. There were a ton of school groups there for field trips.

Regarding March or April, I think the better time is the last week of April. March usually has school/college spring breaks and April has the east coast "april vacations" usually the first 3 full weeks.

We just got back from WDW, 4/27 to 5/2. The crowds were very light.
