There will be addictive behavior in my home while this tournament goes forward.

Not a sports fan. But my DH who was a sports reporter covering Duke (until last summer when he took a job with the Carolina Panthers) got a gig covering Long Island for New York News Day. He's going to make at least $400 and possibly $600 this weekend. I am a fan of the money

My team (UMD) didn't make it to the big dance, but we still fill out the brackets. So far, DDs and I are all tied with 2 wins each. Of course, only 3 games have been played...Winner gets $25 from each of the 2 losers, to be spent at our favorite bookstore. Wish me luck!

I've been a fanatical hoops fan since before some of you were born and somehow manage to survive the pain when my team loses that last game every year. Four times, there has been no pain!

The extra is if another team who has a NY player on it goes to Sunday - and they have a close matchup. New York News Day is paying him to write the LI/UNC game story, a followup, a story of how the NY Player does in an early game, and then maybe another story on Sunday if the NY players team wins.

The AP is also paying him to get quotes for them from press conferences but we're not sure how much. We wont see DH much this weekend but I can live with that

Not an addict, but I'll be watching a lot of games, I am not the type to watch every single game or anything. But this is a fun tournament. Its the only time I really pay attention to college bball.

Went to Typhoon Lagoon today and watched games all day whilst laying in the sun!

Well this is a bracket busting year. Anyone out there choose Morehead St. over Louisville in the first round????? Heck in one of my brackets (actually the one that is #1 in my group so far) I had them going to the finals. HAH! So even though I did pretty well in the rest of my picks yesterday, my total possible points are pretty low because of the Louisville debacle.

It was fun watching John Stockton's son, David, play for Gonzaga last night. I did pick the Zags in my top bracket, so that worked out. I had picked St. John's in my other brackets.
