Today, March 4th, is “Hug A GI Day” – so chosen, it’s believed, because today’s date is also a military order: March Forth! If you see a service member today, give them a hug to show them your sincere appreciation.

we were out xmas shopping and saw the marines at build a bear and dh and explained to ds that whenever he sees them he must say "thank you for serving our country."

When I worked for the Jag Corp a few years back, I really got to appreciate all that our military, and their families, go thru to serve their country. Worth a hug every day of the year.
