What can I expect for crowds from Wednesday March 14th - Saturday March 17th?? We plan to do Disneyland on Thursday and California Adventure on Friday. We have 2 toddlers and it looks like there is more for them at Disneyland, am I right??

It is not like WDW at all, you can go back and forth as you please between both throughout the day! Then you don't waste park time waiting for CA to open. We hit DL till about noon, then over to CA till closing, then back to DL (because CA almost always closes a few hours earlier than DL!)

Crowds will be big due to peak Spring Break time, but if you plan it out and make the most of the hours like above, you should be able to get everything in!

Before we booked, we checked the spring break weeks in CA. Around here they are the last week in March and the first week in April.

Are they the earlier for you in Vegas MATTERHORN?

Most of the Phoenix area has March 12-16 or March 19-29 off. The colleges and Universities have March 12-16 off as well. I think that is where most of the crowds are going to be coming from.

Hmmm, Cal State Universities have the week of March 26-30 off. I guess we will hope it isn't busy then :confused3

Not for us here, we are the week leading up to Easter, but from all the polls and questions already asked, it seems like about half here on the boards have break in the middle of March!!!

Tracer, I can't find that other post, is your trip on again??? I hope so!!:wizard:

You'll hit some some crowds I think from all the talk of spring breaks but certainly not the worst of it. And Thursdays are typically the least busy day of the week so hopefully that will help you out a little :)
We're going the week prior to you and will have a toddler too. I'll be sure to post about DCA and toddlers ;)

DCA is fun for toddlers. Mine are 6, 3 and 1 and they love that park!! There is Monsters Inc, Bug's Land with a few rides perfect for them, King Triton's Carousel (I really love this one and think it is unique and very pretty for a carousel) Golden Zephyr is fun for them.

Plus there is Redwood Creek Challenge Trail which has slides and caves and rope climbs and bridges, all kinds of stuff for them to get some energy out!!! There are two smaller slides in the bottom area and a smaller rope climb with a log to crawl through for littler ones, so don't pass it thinking it's only for older kids. Plus there is a Brother Bear show in there that can be fun if they like the movie!!

My kids really like DCA! And if it's warm, they really love the water features and Dot's Puddle Park!! Be careful though, as they will get soaked in these!!

I agree with everything Matterhorn said, and just to add to it a bit, over at DCA the little tykes may also enjoy Playhouse Disney "Live" and Turtle Talk with Crush. Also, if they're still bringing out Lightning McQueen and Mater, the kids might like to meet them, or at least touch the cars (They're still doing this at MGM over at WDW, so I thought maybe this is still happening at DCA too). It's possible that they may enjoy watching Aladdin too if the show can keep their attention.

Have a great time!:cool1:

Oh no, is that a good or bad thing??!! :rotfl2:

Marrch is becoming a popular time to go to DL. Around here the schools that are on year round tracks are off for almost the whole month of March!

How is the weather at the end of March?? Can the kids swim??:fish:

I keep hearing that most of the outdoor pools are heated and you can swim almost year round. I know Shellyof4 on this board just got back this week and they swam.
I'm guessing end of March would be pretty good swimming weather.
