Hey everybody! This has been the first time since we got back that I have been on the board! We had an incredibly relaxing time! Can't wait to go back :lovestruc We went from the 14-21st. We arrived late and I beame a member of Dollar Express before I went so we were able to skip the regular line and got our rental car in 15 min. Awesome! We raced out at 8:30, used our GPS and found our way to BOMA for dinner. :car:We didn't even check into our hotel yet! :confused3 My DH LOVES, LOVES BOMA!! We checked into Bonnet Creek- again, simply AMAZING!! We can't wait to go back there- mabie at Christmas?? It was actually too big for the two of us. The next day we did Discovery Cove. Despite having helped save a whale out in BC last summer I was at first a big chicken in kissing the dolphin. :rotfl2: I know, CRAZY!!! (Discovery Cove was my fav. part of the vacation. :love:Bonnet Creek was #2 ) The following day we did Universal Orlando & Islands of Adventure. We had originally thought to do this in two days but we bought the fast pass tickets for $30 each and bypassed the lines. :woohoo: This surprised us b/c we were actually taking our time. But after a margaritta :drinking1 at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville we decided to push through! The next day by option only- b/c we had questions about the timeshare thing we decided to do a timeshare presentation with no intention of buying. We didn't- they were mad but that's OK it paid for our dinner at Epcot and a few souvineers, so that was OK and they answered some of our questions. We lazed around the pool, went back to BOMA. The next day we went shopping at the outlet malls- didn't really find any deals. But it was a good day out! Lazed at the pool and enjoyed the sun. :cool2:The next day we did Animal Kingdom. In comparison to last year when we were there for the March Break it was very, very busy! We got fast passes for the Safari jungle ride, went and did Bugs life (5 min. wait) Got out did Lion King, :simba: went back at 10:15am to do Safari and the fast pass line was 40 min. long!!! That was just to get the Fast Passes!!!! :scared1:The line for Fast Passes went all the way to the restaurant and past the first gift shop. :scared1: Talk about crazy!!! :sad2: The fast pass line to actually go on the ride was 10 min. long. We came out, got fast passes for dinosaur, went and had lunch at Flamming BBQ, did our shopping went on dnosaur and then left the park. We saw everything that we wanted to see b/c we had done it last year but it really was just way too busy! We went back to the resort for a swim. :beach: Later on we went to EPCOT, and went through some of the pavillions and watched the laser show. Excellent- it was magical! :wizard: Next day we went to Magic Kingdom, again very busy considering that we got there early, swim and sun on the afternoon and then went to Epcot that night to do the rest of the pavillions. Next day we checked out the flea markets, thanks to our waitress at BOMA that morning, ;)swim and sun in pm and went to Crystal Palace pooh:for dinner. Finished off with fireworks display. pixiedust: Again much busier this year than last. But it was an awesome, awesome vacation and we LOVED Bonnet Creek. Hope everybody else had a great break too :)

We were there the 10th - 21st and I totally agree the parks were busier than I ever have seenj them in March. Half of Texas was there! Glad you had a great time - the weather was the best it has ever been!!

Did you happen to do Raglan Road on St Patty's day - it was a riot!

No we didn't do the pub- but you're right half of Texas WAS there! We asked around and found out that it was their March Break too! Apparently it is only about a 12 hour drive from Texas to Disney. Who knew?? :confused3:goodvibes

sounds like a fabulous time!!

so they actually were made that you didn't buy the timeshare?
wow-not a nice attitude hey!

Can I assume you mean you did the DVC timeshare? I am surprised if yoiu say that they put pressure on you as everyone I have talked to who did it said that they actually don't want you to decide that day. They encourage you to go away and think about it??

One woman I chatted within line for a ride said the total tour was 45 minutes, they got the fastpasses and were outta there! She said it was no pressure!

Also curious what they gave you that paid for dinner at EPCOT? Whe I asked, I was offered the fastpasses or $15 for each member of my family that would attend the tour.

No, it was not DVC it was through Wyndham. It took 1 hr and 45 min. We probably wouldn't do it again, but we just wanted to see what the whole thing was about. I have already compared DVC and for us it just isn't as economical as Bonnet Creek. I am still doing a ton of reserach so I know exactly what I am getting ourselves into. My DH and I figured out that it would cost us $94. a night throughout the year based on 30% exchange rate. For what we pay on travel, this is good. But...I still don't know enough about the whole timeshare thing so again, I am doing alot of reserach! :surfweb:

We were there 14-23. I agree this year it was Sooo busy!! Last year on Cdn March Break lines were minimal. We go every year on The Break and I would say this was one of the busiest I've seen in awhile. Still magical and fabulous of course.
We just did the safari during the parade and walked right on. Good strategy if you have seen the parade before.
The weather was unbelievable , wasn't it??
Can't wait til March 2010
