March Break info

Hi all, Was looking at the deals and my DD's birthday is during March break...we can get a great deal with the stay 4 nights free 3 day deal..she will get $75 to spend for her birthday plus we get $ 200 extra spending money so we are thinking of doing it.....flight out of Detroit with stops would be $600 but Air Canada direct flight would be $781. the disney part will only be $1100!

My question...never been to WDW during March Break...any suggestions, tips etc..is it really busy?

We have gone during the March break 3 times during the last 6 years and are going this March break. You will need to do some planning! Use the DIS boards they are great! I found the airports to be the worst part of the trip, the parks were not that bad, And I hate crowds! You will have a great time!

Thankyou for info! In looking at plane fares etc we are prob going to go wed to wed so hopefully airport won't be too bad.....I am so excited..I just got back nov 2 and planning to go again !

March break will be much busier than Nov. We go every year for March break and will be there again this year! Planning is a must and make your ressies ahead of time. We are flying out of buffalo - 5 of us were $2000 so $600 out of Ontario is really good - are you sure becasue when I looked they were $700 - but I did need Sat departure.

$1100 for Disney is amazing for a week! See you there.

No it was $600 US out of Detroit (Air tran) and $781 CDN (Air Canada) out of Toronto....for 2 people.

Changed dates slightly and got $458 Airtran (incl. baggage charge and seat selection)

Detroit is a 5 hour drive Toronto 1 1/2 hour and I know it better so will probably do with Toronto......plus we would be dealing with possible bad snow etc in our neck of the woods...Toronto I can stay at friends night before.....

We went March Break of 06 & were surprised that it wasn't as busy as we thought it would be.

we were up for rope drop & it wasn't overly busy.

We are flying out of Buffalo, 4 people $2,100 CDN March 11-21st.

We just booked our first trip during March break, but our 3rd trip overall. We have gone the last two Augusts ('07&'08). What is March like?? What do i need that I didn't need in the summer or things that I don't need to bring??

Booked my airfare ...decided to go with Air Canada for $781 for 2...I don't think that is too bad a price and I feel more secure with AC rather than an american company with the recession etc......
