Hi, we plan an April 2002 trip, but I've been thinking about March Break too. What's the weather and crowds like? THX

Sandra, we went last March Break. We stayed off-site at the HoJo MGE because it was to be a cheap trip. The weather driving down and back was beautiful...it was so wonderful to see the sun. The weather in Orlando was comfortably warm and I think we had a bit of rain, but nothing to worry about. We spent two days at Disney, one day at Universal (3-day/PH Cnd @ par which I bought here)~ the Mardi Gras parade was on at night and that was great fun~ and one day at SeaWorld (Cnd @ par bought at the gate). We're planning on driving down again March 2002, it was a wonderful break from all the misery (cold & snow) here.

We have gone during March break for the past 4 years and each year the crowds have seemed to be heavier. Last year, on one day we tried Ak, Mk, and MGM and the crowds were very heavy at each park. (70 minute wait at ToT). This year however, I think it's anyones guess as to what the crowds will be like.

Cottontail, I don't know if we were just lucky, but we managed to time everything just right, using FastPass. We got to do pretty much everything we wanted or chose something else if a line was too long. I found taking a more relaxed approach worked out better for us and not having to deal with the summer heat made any waits more bearable. I really enjoyed our March Break trip because we also visited SeaWorld and Universal and hope we can go again next year.

Sounds like a great time to go. My family will have to try it some time then. It sure is depressing looking here in ontario in march. We are travelling down the last week of april and beginning of may, I can't wait, but i am hoping it won't be too hot. We had to move our august trip as I was having trouble with my blood pressure here in ontario with the heat we had last summer. Bye,

Debbie.

We have been at WDW around Easter the last couple of times and it was BUSY. I can't imagine March break being as bad. If you are there when they open (sometimes up to an hour before the posted time at busy times), and do the big rides first and then just take in the sites! It's still alot of fun!

dd has a PA day at school on March 22 (Fri), I was even thinking about leaving that day and going right thru Easter. It gives us 11 Disney days! BUT, it's only a week after March break and what's it like at Easter? GOT MY 100 YEAR VACTION PLANNER VIDEO TODAY

We were in Orlando for 12 nights starting last March 16.

We found the crowds to be manageable and the weather was nice and warm except for 1 day where it absolutely poured rain (at Kennedy Space Centre that day).

If you go early in the day and use Fastpass, you should get to see everything you want. The crowds at Epcot were quite moderate for the time of year. Magic Kingdom was the most crowded.

Because Easter is earlier in 2002, I would expect the crowds to be heavier towards the end of March.

Hi, my dd's school has March Break March 11- 15, on March 22, she has a PA Day off school and the following weekend is Easter. So I was considering flying March 22 to March 31 (that's Easter Sunday), that way we have Easter Monday at home. It's 10 days in WDW, but she only needs 4 days off school. Would there be codes that time of year?
