March Break 2009 Park Hours are posted!

We'll be at SSR over March Break as well. We hadn't plan to visit the parks this time but were hoping to go to Blizzard Beach. I'm surprised that it's only open till 5pm. I suppose in July/August it must be later but we had great weather last March and would have loved to spend the evening there.

On this board. Just go to Theme Parks and park hours an you will see March 2009 posted. I am hoping that the Rehab on Typhoon Lagoon is an oversight (it's closed the whole month of Feb). I was really hoping to get there while we are there and it usually opens back up the second week of March.

WDW emailed the other family we are travelling with and said that Typhoon Lagoon will be down until March 22 ( the day we leave). Considering WDW have always re-opened TL by the 3rd week in March, I suspect this is another cost cutting measure. What really irks me is between PI and TL being closed where do you go to use up your ticket options? Last time we went to BB, it was dirty! Loads of leaves in the water and the CMs were less than helpful! Most of them just stood there talking to each other and watched visitors struggle on their own with the rafts! I was so disappointed, no disney magic there and I used to love BB! I guess we will have to try aquatica this year!

That's such a bummer - especially if the parks are busy which means BB will be super busy! Last year it reopended around March 12th so we were able to do both.....

Oh well, at least I won't be shovelling snow!
