March, April or May? Lightest crowds?

Hello!
I'm hoping for some info on the best time to go between March and May. My number one concern is crowds. We're flexible and can travel anytime during the week, too. I'm thinking of flying in on Tuesday morning and heading home on Saturday, to avoid the weekend congestion. Does that make sense?
So, I'm wondering when school lets out in CA and if May dates would be an issue. I know to stay away from Easter. Late March seems to have a lot of spring breaks, too. What do you think? I have all sorts of crowd level charts for WDW, but can't find anything like that for DL. Thank you!

But, it's not specific year by year. Easter is April 8 next year. I've been told that the week before and the week after are horrible, as well as President's week in February.

I decided upon the first week of March because we get our spring break in March. I too will go during the week and avoid the weekend. I think early May shouldn't be too bad either. Some CA schools seem to get out late May.

We went this year during our Spring Break (first week of April always here in N. CA) and then went again Memorial Day weekend. I think Spring Break was more crowded.

I did some checkin on the weather, too, and think that May would be better. My kids are BIG swimmers, so the warmer weather would be nice for us. Now, I wait and watch for any promos until they start booking 2007. Good thing we're going to WDW in October so I can get my DISNEY FIX!

I was there in early March (9-13) and early May (4-7) this year. May had lighter crowds then March. March wasnt bad, we were ahead of spring break crowds, but May was lighter. Plus the weather was better in May.

Most California schools don't get out till June. Mine are in till next Thursday. Also May is much warmer then March. Most California schools also get a week off in April, so would avoid that.

We always try to go early to Mid May and the weather is great and crowds are low!
