March 9, 2006 - Three Day Wonder

Wow! I can't believe it is almost a month away. Since this is our first cruise I was wondering when the documents would arrive? What is everyone doing after the cruise? We are spending 2 nights at Disney's Vero Beach Resort which we are really looking forward to as well. I still have to book something for the night before the cruise. Our flight doesn't arrive until midnight (ugh!) so I want to find something close (though I don't want to pay the Hyatt's high prices) to the airport. Oh well I'll have to find something.
The countdown is on!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :yay: :cheer2:

Plus I forgot to mention numerous trips to Disneyland 1972-1992

Meshee's family and my family are staying four nights at the New Orleans French Quarter along with another family. Then we are cruising and then we are all spending another week at Oak Plantation Resort after the cruise. Have a GREAT TIME!!! :thumbsup2  :cheer2: :moped: :woohoo:

My group is doing the Polynesian on the front end of the Land/Sea. Unfortunately, after the cruise, we're just getting on a plane and coming back to Ohio. Sigh...

Although I am trying to talk DW into coming back down to WDW in early December to see all the Christmas decorations. Wish me luck.

For those doing the parks before/after the cruise, I learned the other day that Pirates is going down for refurbishment as of March 1st, and will be closed through June. The plan is to have it reopened by July, when the next movie comes out (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest). So no PotC while we're there.

FYI everyone!! I don't know about anyone else but we received our docs via "Brown" on Friday afternoon. I just happen to be working at home when I hear the door bell ring and I wasn't going to answer it because I was working. I am so glad I came out off the office to see who it was because there he was holding our docs!! :cool1: :cheer2: It is official...we are well on our way. :moped:

Ours came today in the mail. I miss the little box they used to come in, but they were kinda impractical.

Whoo!!!

We got our documents on Monday too!!! Since this is our first cruise I was not sure what to expect...I thought there were going to be more forms to fill out. I am assuming nothing more is to arrive, we received a little brown trip booklet, checklist and luggage tags--nothing else right??

Also I was a little bummed to see the same stateroom #. :sad2: After hearing about all the upgrades on this board I was kinda hoping we'd get one too---oh well at least we are going. I am so excited anyway. This is the 1st time we are going away in the winter time. We usually go away in the summer so it is a nice change to get away from the cold.

Happy planning everyone :cheer2: !!!!

shaycamp, I was upset, too, when I saw the stateroom printed on the luggage tags! This is our first cruise, too, and we were hoping for a miracle to get bumped to a higher stateroom.

No biggie, though, b/c I'm sure we won't be spending a lot of time there!

20 more days! 20 more days! I have my countdown on the refridgerator - it's the highlight of my mornings. :)

Hi everyone! The docs have arrived and the reality of packing has began!! As Meshee know's I am not very good with this area...in other words I hate this more then labour!!
We also need a pile of pixie dust sent out to one of our little ones travelling with us. She was rushed into  hospital on Friday night by her parents and she has an advanced case of pneumonia and an ear infection to the point where she was put on an out patient list and required to go back and forth daily. She was sent to the pediatrician the next day and will be seeing another specialist on Wednesday and to get service that quick here in Ontario is amazing so we know its bad!! The doc is saying she may not be able to fly if they can't get her under controle...so we need major prayer and pixie dust for her so we can get her feeling better so she can have a wonderful two weeks.

Thanks everyone!

Thank-you...the pneumonia is disappearing nicely it is her ears now and flying is going to be tough!
