Hello All! My name is Skye!

I have been married to my husband Nathan, for 4 years! (5 years on 2/28/2011)

We have three kids-
Ethan who is 4

Carlee who will be 3 on March 16th

Emmitt who will be 1 on March 1st

I am so excited about planning our March trip that some nights I cant even sleep and just surf the DIS boards!

I have been a DIS board lurker for- forever, but now I really would like to become a part of the DIS boards and figure this is the best way to start!​

I am hopping on for the ride! Welcome to The Dis! You have an adorable family... they are all so cute!

I just had to chime in, since we will be at WDW at the same time -and we will even be in some of the same parks on the same days. We will be in DHS on the 9th and Epcot on the 11th - so maybe we'll bump into eachother???

Officially, there is a Dismeet planned for the 8th at the Yeehaw Bob show at POR resort between 9 and 10pm... More info on that in the Dismeet section and in the official & unofficial March 2012 planning threads.

Airfare was super expensive on March 3rd, so it was actually cheaper to fly on the 2nd and rent a room that night!!

Airfare was super expensive on March 3rd, so it was actually cheaper to fly on the 2nd and rent a room that night!!

I just added an extra day to our trip yesterday, as well. Same reason. If we flew on the 8th of March, airfare for the 3 of us would cost $2300 (almost more than our whole trip)... If we fly on the 6th, airfare for the three of us is $1100. I was able to get Disney to change our FD reservation... So, our new dates are March 6-15th still at POFQ.

Airfare is insane... in the past, I always remember seeing great airfare deals for spring break. Maybe I was just delusional. But I nearly choked on my coffee every single time I looked at airfare prices for our dates, because it was soooo expensive - but if I changed my travel by a day or two, it dropped more than in half. So, I am pretty excited, the girls and I now have an extra day at WDW, we were able to stay in the resort we wanted and, as far as I can tell - we'll get to spend 2 days in each park. I am super excited!

Ahhh I am so happy you found my thread! I am still sorting through yours and reading- just passed your tigger dress!!!
All I can think about is Disney- but I don't know what else to plan!

Yah - sorry about my PTR... it's a bit long. Glad you're brave and trying to dig your way through it, if it wasn't mine, I don't think I'd have the ambition to try and keep up with it. LOL

*Well, do you have all of your ADRs made? That is very important. The sooner the better.

*I am sure you've seen my Mini-Planner pages in my PTR, as well. Since I've added days, I have to redo a lot of my pages and all of my main ones. So, if you do any sort of fun graphics (or scrapbooking) - it's really fun to plan your trip out on paper.

*Of course, I am going to make the girls and I a few custom outfits... I dunno if you sew - but even if you don't, Disneystore.com always has great deals on T-shirts. And there are tons of talented seamstresses on Disboards that do custom outfits for kids - they aren't cheap - but you totally get what you pay for.

*I don't know if you are a down to the minute planner (I am not), but you can plan out some of your days a bit further. For instance, I know which park we are going to be in on which day, and I know where we are eating and at what time. So, then I try to figure out what our must do attractions are... I don't plan them, but I know that the first thing we are going to do (along with everyone else) is the TSM run at DHS... Things like that.

*And, of course, you can keep yourself busy for weeks just reading Disboards. I love going into the photo area and looking at those threads (Theme park attractions & strategies > Theme parks community)... My favorite are the gift shop photo threads - it's so much fun to go through them and "shop".

And before you know it, your vacation will be here... Planning is half the fun.

I missed your Google Doc. being posted!

First of all - I really like how you've put everything on one sheet - it's very easy to read, at a glance, and it has really great information on it!

I also wanted to comment... It looks like we will be in some of the same parks on the same days!

On the 9th, we'll be at DHS together...

On the 11th, we'll be at Epcot together... We have a 4pm ADR at Garden Grill - so we'll probably be finishing up as you are getting seated... maybe we can plan a mini-Dismeet???

Anyways... Love your document!! Any other updates???
