We were rudely awakened at 5:15 by a horrid shuttering and shaking noise in our cabin. My kids seriously though the world was coming to an end. So we ended up with 4 in the bed (and the little one said....roll over). Not very comfy but we managed to go back to sleep by 6 and slept until 7. We had decided before the cruise that we would forgo the sit down breakfast and just go to the buffet. We were glad we did since they ended up having scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as the cold stuff. After one last short look around the ship we made our way to deck 3. We were off the ship by 8:45. Our Cartier Limo was waiting for us and took us to the Royal Pacific at Universal to start the second half of our vacation. Our kids had always wanted to try Universal but I have always been too partial to Disney. Now that they are getting older we decided this would be the perfect time to try it since we were not planning on doing the WDW parks this time anyway. You certainly can't beat the front of the line perks but it just wasn't disney. No parades and more importantly no Magic.
I can't say enough good things about these Disney cruises. We travel a great deal and I never thought I would like a cruise because of the sea sickness issues. Boy am I glad we tried it once just to see. Now my husband has a new addiction of mine to support! We had wonderful weather the whole time. Low eighties with a light wind and clear blue skies. The seas were very calm, with the exception of the last night starting about 11pm. But by then we were headed to bed so it didn't matter.
I can't wait for our 7 day, the 4 day is just not long enough!

Thanks again for the great trip report!

Can't beat FOTL at UO!!!

Thanks for your trip report! I really enjoyed reading it as we set sail on the Disney Wonder May 20th for our first ever cruise.

I agree with you about US/IOA. My DD and I stayed at RPH one night in March so we could have FOTL privileges. We missed the Disney magic! LOL!

I hope I can say I agree with you about having a new Disney addiction after our cruise!
