Hello,
I didn't see a thread for this cruise yet.

It will be me DH(41),DW(45),DS(18),DS(14),DD(7)

We were on a 2011 Summer Med Cruise, but cancelled due to concerns in the Med. I know, probably overly concerned.

Who else will be joining us?

George

Hey Kellie, I am glad to see someone else too. Yep, I sure would have loved it to be 7, that is our spring break, and my wife is a teacher, so no one has to miss school. We are anxiously awaiting news on where the ship is going after ouir cruise, if it is a repo to New York, we may try to do B2B. An empty ship would be great, but I sure do doubt it being spring break for alot of florida counties.

Less than year to go.

George

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Well there you all are. I've been searching for this thread. We will be joining all of you on the "not so empty" cruise.

This will be our first cruise and we are super excited!

Joining me(47) will be DH (47) DD (6) and my SIL (56).

Yay! More cruisers joining. As more people join, we'll have to get the ball rolling on setting up an FE list for the cruise. We want to participate in it. I would also be happy to coordinate it.

GeorgeY- Since you started this cruise meet thread, I'll defer to you about the FE and organizing it all. Just let me know your thoughts.

Welcom Notallboys!!!!

As far as Fish Extenders, I can keep a running list on the first post for easy access, as people express interest, and we can all decide on closing dates and how to do it as more people join and it gets closer. Actually, I can keep a running list of everyone on the cruise on the first post, and note if they want to participate.

We have only done the FE on one of our two previous cruises and it was only a 3 day, so there wasn't alot of planning needed, but on the 10 day cruise I had to cancel, there was alot going on, such as who did what which day etc. Don't know if we will have to do all that, but looking forward to all of the planning.

George

We just got off the Dream at the end of March and booked this cruise while still on board. We did participate in the FE exchange and had lots of fun so would be interested in doing it again. It will be myself, DM (33) and my DD (13).

Welcome to the cruise JacksGirlz!!!!!!

I will add you to the list.

George

Kellie,

I didn't read your thread well enough earlier regarding the FE. When you said "I would also be happy to coordinate it"..... I just read you were interested in the FE.

I would be more than HAPPY:yay: to pass that over to you. That is if you still want to do it.......

Let me know....

Thanks
George

GeorgeY and Kellie-
Can you please add us to the FE exchange? Our stateroom number is 6608.
Thanks so much!:cool1:

Sure, I don't mind!! We just got off the Dream for a Spring Break cruise and the lady who organized the FE did a fantastic job. So many ideas. We felt so unworthy with all her top notch gift ideas. I still can't copy most of what she did, but l will try my best.

Kellie, Thanks so much for doing this.

How did you like the Dream? I have seen so many different reviews.

On our last cruise, it was incredible what we recieved from the other cruisers in the FE. It was full everyday with stuff and the gifts were so unique. There was kind of a theme of gifts from your hometown, so we got things from all over the place.

I also just checked and our cruise went up in price last week. If we booked today it would cost us over 1K more.

George

Looking good for this cruise! Just got off the Magic 7 nt Eastern 3/26-4/2 and so eager to be back on the Magic!!!! We definitely want to cruise her again before she leaves Port Canaveral - the only hitch in our plans is that we are already pulling DD10 our if school for a week in December for a trip to WDW..... that is the only hesitation in not booking right now - 2 weeks out of school in same year? School said okay but I'm still very hesitant. Spring break next year falls over Easter so waaaay expensive though..... I'll check back though as I think we will probably be joining y'all!

The only hitch in me doing the FE is that I can't access your post with the running list of staterooms and families. What to do...what to do?

I feel a need for a disclaimer here: The following is my personal opinion and everyone will have their own experience and opinion on this matter. I was nervous about sailing on the Dream after reading so many "iffy" reviews as well. Mostly they were all spot on. It was CROWDED. It was never so crowded that you couldn't find seats on the pool deck (actually we had to take chairs 1 deck up overlooking the pools, but that was fine with us (closer to the adult bar that way;)). It was just noticeably more crowded in the hallways and elevators. Some of the hallways seemed narrower than on the Wonder (especially the hallway leading to the kids clubs). We noticed the biggest differences in the dining. People lined up for their dining seating well over 30 minutes beforehand (and many people just walked directly in front of the lines to get in "first"). It was quite odd. All my DH and I could think was "we all have assigned tables and will be eating together, no need to rush the doors." I can say that the dining staff is far over-worked and didn't seem equipped for the job. The dining was not up to par with Disney standards. The ship and the rooms (and our stateroom hostess) were fantastic. The kids clubs, though they served over 1000 kids on our cruise, never felt crowded and the kids LOVED every minute there. We had a great cruise, just different from our last experience. But, yes, we would do it again. It's Disney baby!!:wizard:

Kellie,
I will remove the current list form my post, and you can put it in your 1st post. Then an option would be to just post a link back to that one, as people join.

George

hey Kellie, the colors look good. I like that.

Our Cabin is 8534.

I wonder when we will be able to get an official word on our formal night, pirate night etc.. It would help in planning Palo reservations.

George

Hello Everyone-

We too will be on the cruise as it is our Spring Break. Here is the list of characters:

Me - DW- Kelsey
DH - Eric
DD - Madeline - age 8
DD - Alivia - age 5

We would love to be part of the FE, our cabin is 7564.

I did not want this to get lost on my previous thread.

Has anyone visited this beach (Nachi Cocom) in Cozumel. I have read reviews and it seems great. It only allows 100 people to reserve space on the beach and fills quickly. When I was reading reviews, there was another Disney cruise that got everyone to book so the beach was full of Disney Magic cruisers.

I checked a website and if I remember correctly, there are 6 other ships in the Cozumel port with us.

I did book my family of 4, the deposit was $33 (non-refundable-unless the ship misses the port) but I thought I was better safe than sorry by waiting.

I did see there are some other beaches with water inflatables that could be fun but the comment was they were tough for the kids to get on if they were small, and with a 5 year old that could be an issue.

Here is to hoping we can get a bunch of kids on this nice beach and let them play.
