Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm thinking today is the day that Dave's cruise end. Hope they had a great time.

More snow in our forecast. I can't wait for Spring to get here. I'm sick of snow and we haven't had near as much as some of you.

I'm going into NYC today with my girlfriends from college. Looking forward to a weekend away from the house work, cooking, and taxi service.

Nothing specific planned. Walking around, browsing shops, eat...sounds like a mini vacation.

Hello All!
Here is some scouting info! First up is our Dismeet location, there is no "Promenade" style lounge. I checked at the desk and they suggested meeting in one of the theaters or somewhere on the top decks. My thought is, I went down to the adult lounges and they were empty most of the cruise, we could meet there as there is some open style lounges. They also had two sail away parties, one at like 3pm and one at the actual sailaway at 4:30. The lifeboat drill is different as well as you don't have to wear your lifejacket. We could possibly meet between sailaway parties. Next up is Sunrise Club, I posted some pictures of the beverage station and in the background are some tables. Depending on the weather we can stay down on deck 11 (which is glass enclosed) or move up to deck 12 for some fresh air. Some diappointments were, no hot chocolate out at the beverage station, you have to go into Cabanas and get it, and still serving Nescafe (yuck). I did head to Cove Cafe for some adult coffee, but that gets expensive and naps are needed by noon...LOL I will report more as needed! Have a great night everyone!

Welcome back Dave! Sounds like you had a great trip. Thanks for all the scouting. I like your idea of one of the clubs. Does the Dream has an upper level to Cove Cafe like the Wonder does? That might be an option. Good thing is we have a year to talk it out.

Kinda cloudy and dreary here in Jersey with a chance of some more nasty storms this afternoon. YUCK !!

I keep trying to get on track - and then something knocks me back. Wow, I hate this! Need to get back to my normal self - Calgon, take me away!! (for all of us old folks who remember that commercial!)

Still have not heard from Bob which is making me nuts. Although I talked to Tom last night and he said that he spoke to Rosie (Bob's wife) and she said things are fine and he's just busy. But at this point, just a "hi mom" would do!! What's that they say - kids, gotta love 'em - well. . . . . . .

I have a few little things to do today, but I'll try to hop back on in a bit!

Hello DIS Friends!!

Can you believe February has come to an end!!!

Spring is just around the corner.

It has been very quiet out here lately. I am sure everyone is very busy these days.

I had a great time visiting with my girlfriends from college this past weekend. We had a nice day in NYC on Saturday. Other than when we stopped for a late lunch in Little Italy, we walked all over the city from noon to 7pm.

Dave - So glad you had a great trip. I enjoyed looking at the pictures on FB.

Sue - Hope things are getting better for you. Not sure if you had a chance to read it yet but I sent you a PM last week. I had a few questions for you.

Diane - I hope everything is okay. I saw on FB that you did not have a good day. Hopefully nothing too bad.

Monika and Michael are on their cruise right now...right?? I think they left on 2/26. I hope they are having fun....do I even have to use the word 'hope' ?

Gary - He's enjoying the warm weather down south too. Boy am I jealous.

Gotta go for now. Busy night running around to meetings and dance stuff. It's audit time at work and I have lots to do tonight. And I actually have to go into the office the next couple of days. Two weeks in a row with multiple days in the office both weeks. Yikes!
