How are you and Bob doing with droping her off at college for the weekend? This is a test of how it is going to be. Hope she has fun.

Well, it is really blech outside. We are all home now and safe and warm for the night. The wind has really picked up. And just ugly outside. Be glad you are in Florida.

Well it started rainy this morning, and has been getting colder all day. It is suspose to drop 1 to 3 inches overnight.

Had DGD come but this morning after we went shopping and we made a gingerbread house. Then we baked sugar cookies and decorated them, sent her home with 1/2 of what was baked.

well Michael is still working on the christmas tree, he would have been done, except. He has also been working on his parents tree, the good news its about 1/2 the size of ours.

Michael and I met up with Flo, Danny and Steven for the Christmas Party. Flo...it was great to see you again. We had the best time!!!!

The line...it took us 20 minutes to get into the ballroom. The Merry Mixer was held in the Fantasia Ballroom at the Contemporary. It was not fun. We stayed for 15 minutes. If it wasn't for the pretty ornament...we would not have gone.

No introductions needed......

We've got some snow but not as much as they were talking about, but we still have a winter storm warning until tonight.

Flo and Monika thanks for the pictures. Looks like you are both having a great time.

Monika thanks for the report on the Merry Member Mixer. I've heard from a number of people that it wasn't very organized or fun. Too bad. We used to love them when they were held over by Epcot.

Dianne - sounds like you had a fun day of baking.

We went and saw the movie Tangled yesterday. I really didn't want to go see it but Mark did after seeing a review from one of our favorite reviewers. I'm glad he suggested it. It really is a great movie.

No plans for today except for laundry so it looks to be a nice quiet Sunday at home.

Morning, we have a little snow right now, and it is still snowing, Michael is using the snow blower on the drive way. He wants to make sure I make it to the pool this morning. Burr

Our drive way is like 10 car lengths long, and I told him I did not want to make ruts ...Its around 22 degrees.

I still have Christmas cards to write and laundry to do today, and Maybe Michael will get the last of the lights on the tree today.

Morning All!

I can't believe this is are last full day in Disney. We leave tomorrow afternoon. That is if the snow holds off. They are already cancelling flights for today. So we will see. I am sure with the cancellations that it is going to be a zoo at the airport.

Monika - I agree with you it was no fun at the Merry Mixer and like Monika we only got are ornament and left. I know it was cute because of the pic that mary posted so I did not want to miss it. I agree it was great seeing you and Michael and you guys made the Christmas pary even more special.

Went to the Osborne Light show yesterday. I felt like we were heards of cattle. It was very pretty but not sure if I would go through that again.
I just love all the Christmas decorations all over.

Went to te Crab house in Downtown Disney and as always it was great. Today he is meeting up with one of his friends from college for lunch. He works out here. Not sure what me and Danny are going to do. This afternoon we are going back to MGM to see what we did not get to do yesterday.

Good Snowy Sunday Morning!

We ended up getting 3-3.5 inches of snow. So not too bad. The problem was last night and the wind. It was just howling outside. Many highways across the state were closed down and still closed this morning. But the storm system has moved east so those in its path be careful.

Monika - loved the photos you shared! I especially liked the one of Michael and Dee Vee Cee! She was such a hoot to meet. Too bad the Merry Mixer wasn't much fun. But it seems like you had a great night at the Christmas Party! Just too bad it was so cold and you had to have coats and gloves on. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

Dianne - cookies, yummmmmmmmmmm. I think I will probably do that some next weekend.

Flo - enjoy your last day and hope you are able to make it home tomorrow. Be safe.

Well made it back this morning, Michael took me to the pool, I am glad I did not drive, alot of people were having problems. He has 4 wheel drive.

It s still snowing here!

I don't like driving in this stuff, although I know it loks pretty.

The road crews have really just started taking care of things in the last few hours.

Did anyone book deck 10 aft...I am looking at the rooms at the back of the boat, but I get motion sickness and usually book center ship.. just courious, looks like I could save some money if I book there, looks like it could be fun... what do you think? trying decide if we should change our room before it gets booked up?

Thanks Flo! Weather hasn't been as bad as they thought. Lots of rain yesterday and some snow overnight and this morning. With the salt Mark put down he's only using a push shovel to clean it up.

Dianne - we didn't book aft this time, but the rooms we love on the Magic and Wonder (the navigator's verandah) are aft and we love the area.

Well, our Christmas that was to be today was cancelled. The weather had a little something to do with it but my Aunt who was hosting it this year woke up this morning with the flu! Oh, no. Don't want to go there if she is sick. So she rescheduled for next Sunday. Which is ok with me. Didn't want to go outside today anyway. It is too cold.
