We are planning a family trip for the week of March 11. Any thoughts or suggestions on what the crowds will be like or what we should watch out for? Thánks in advance.

We are going in mid-April 2013 so I remember reading somewhere that spring break time for many schools varies throughout March-April, so you can't really predict when it's a busy week/slow week. You might look at AP block-out dates to get an idea when Disney thinks it will be busy.

That time this year was around the time frame for Deaf Entertainers Weekend. There was rain that Saturday, so crowds were light, but Sunday with the sunshine it was pretty busy. The CM's kept saying that the event should be coming back and I would expect it to be held mid-March again. Going into the second year, there will be much larger crowds trying to get in and meet the celebrities. This year we saw Marlee Matlin, the cast of Switched at Birth, and Matt Hamill - all big draws.
