Totally jealous that you have the option to upgrade to an Iphone. ROFL... Someday, I will have one - and the whole world will know about it and they will all be happy because they won't have to listen to me whine about not having an Iphone. I wish DH would let us upgrade. He keeps balking. I know why. He doesn't like the sticker on the iPhones. $100 for the 4 and $200 for the 4S. He hates the Android phones, so he'll either do the iPhone or go back to a basic non-smart phone. I just wish he'd decide, because I want a new iPhone NOW! It took me forever to text my OMDD entry this AM. It didn't want to paste.

I found it pretty cheap at Amazon. If you get it, you can't tell me how it is (good or bad). It will probably be this summer before I'll have a chance to sit down and read it.

This cracked me up. We are doing Hot Ham n Cheese sandwiches for dinner - with Mac n cheese as a side... Gourmet and all - I know.

You can't go wrong with Riesling... I know everyone thinks that French wine is the best - but I prefer German wine - maybe it's genetics - not sure if you've had Riesling - but it's delish.

Oh I-phone, schmi-phone...I am one of the crazies still living in the technical ice age. My phone is a non-smart. DH and I have decided to try to avoid phones that require a data package for as long as our carrier will allow it...I believe the time is drawing near though. The non-smart phone selections are getting fewer and far between in the store. We just choose to spend our $ on things other than phones and phone bills, you know?

DH was in the Navy, not the AF. We loved living in the Seattle area and DH had an opportunity to go to work for Boeing...it was just too far away from family for us. No regrets...we love Tennessee!!!!!

Good luck on dinner tonight! Sounds like it will be interesting. As for us, I've got ribs cooking in the crock pot all day long today so hopefully they will be good for dinner tonight...whenever DH shows up! He's working some extra long hours this week so I'm not sure when I'll see him. As for V-day, he told me a few weeks ago it was my turn to do something for him, and I decided it was a hallmark holiday we didn't need to celebrate...so I did NOTHING! We didn't even exchange cards but I did write him a note...and attached two small chocolate hearts to it! He did pick me up today and we just went to lunch...and he did buy that...but I think that was more about him getting more driving time in his new car. Which of course brings me back to why we don't need to be spending money for Valentine's Day...since he just got a new car!

The book sounds interesting...might have to look into it when I finish all the ones I'm trying to read right now!

As for the phone...well having two PC geeks at home means there are NO....NADA....ZIP Apple products in our house...EVER! That includes phones. We both have Android phones and we love them though. I must say I've looked into upgrading mine but the phones just keep getting bigger and I like carrying my phone around in my pocket so the bigger phones just don't work for me. I may be carrying around my current smart phone (about to reach it's two-year phone-a-versary with me) for a long, long time!

And another vote for Riesling wines here too! I just LOVE them!!! Give me that or a nice Pinot Grigio any day and I'm good!

I agree completely! I love Reisling!!! I actually picked up a bottle of Yellowtail Reisling while I was at the wine store. It's my favorite ... and I try not to have it in the house, because I'll polish it off quick.

I hear if you stare at my pot roast pictures long enough, people tend to do what I say.

My mom hates these new fangled phones. Hers can use data, but it's not really a smart phone. It's got some bells and whistles, but I have them all turned off. She wants a basic phone that only makes calls.

And honestly, my phone bill didn't go up too much when I added the iPhones. Well ... they did go up a lot, but if I had stayed, the bill would be comparable because my previous provider was being a jerk and was forcing all three of us to have data plans -- no ifs, ands, or buts. So we went to our current provider because they were the only ones who had the iPhone at the time.

MY DH was in the AF for, I think it was 6 years. He spent most of his time in CO, but also had to go out to CA a lot. He also spent a year and a half (IIRC) in Saudia Arabia. I don't think he was ever in WA, but one of my WoW friends lives up there. He wrestles beavers for a living. (No, really. He wrestles all sorts of wild animals, but most beavers.)

I think our DHs are going to have a good time. Too bad you won't be there the whole time we are! That would be awesome for our DH's. We can send them off to not be whiney.

You guys sound like us. We aren't doing anything for each other ... but we didn't upgrade a vehicle either. Is he enjoying the new Pilot? (It was a Pilot, right?)

I agree, the phones are getting bigger and bigger. They went from huge to small, and now they're one their way back up to huge.

My phone will turn two in late April. However, it's getting lazy and has trouble waking up, recognizing me, and I noticed yesterday, the battery was in the 30% when I went to bed ... which is not good, since I barely used it.

I'm still hoping for the 4S. I didn't get one last night. But DH did mention going out and upgrading our phones this weekend. No "i's" were mentioned, but the word "upgrade" is enough for me.

His coworker claims the iPhone is far superior to the Droid. I honestly wouldn't know. But I've heard the opposite as well.

DH has been waffling on what phone to get tonight ... so we'll see. Have you checked various sites to see if they have any cases for your phone in Disney characters? I know there's a website that probably does ... but it's not an "official" Disney case.

I don't blame you for planning a third trip. I'd be happy with a second one.

And are you serious? FIVE DOLLARS??!! I hope not! I had planned on taking the kids up to DollyWood a lot this summer ... but if gas prices are high, then I'll forego the passes and we'll walk over to the community pool.

Disney has awesome cases! Walmart had a ton of them back when the 4s first hit the market, and again when 4S hit. I'm hoping to hit Walmart tomorrow.

Sorry that you can't find a nice Android one. Is there any knock-offs that are Disney that would fit? I know there's a website that sells knock-off cases, and they have a TON of "Disney" ones. I can't recall what brands they sold knock-offs for.

I live in NYC and as long as gas stays under $5.00 I will be happy. I drive a Durango and I was thinking of downsizing but They had to go and change the Ford Escape on me and now I don't like it or having a car payment LOL. Add that to the fact that my Durango is almost 7 years old and only has 45,000 miles on it. Thankfully I get one tank of Gas per week per car with my Job.
