March 2012 roll-call....

The Blue Jays are playing the Braves at 1:05 pm. We arrive that morning at 7:45 so have time to get there for the game. Very exciting! Any other Blue Jay fans plan on being there?

:banana:March 3-10 at OKW in a Grand Villa for now but think I might need to cancel and change to SSR to a two bedroom..... Our friends that were going to join us can't come and I don't want to wast our points on an extra room.

With snow due tomorrow, I'm dreaming of march break :goodvibes
March 1-4th beach club
March 4-9th Dream
March 9-11th POFQ
All new for us.

Hi all! Just confirmed our hotel for March 10 to 16. Vistana Resort Got a tip about a 35% off sale at Starwood hotels from a DIS board posting! Have stayed there before nice resort. Starwood also owns the Swan hotel at WDW. Just need to get some Leaf tickets for the game in Tampa.

We are in from Feb. 22 to Mar. 4. We are going to the West Coast this year. I haven't been to Disneyland for 18 years and we will also be taking our first Disney cruise to the MR on the Wonder.

Feb. 22 - 26 - Disneyland - haven't booked a hotel yet. :yay:
Feb. 26 - Mar 4 - MR on the Wonder with a KSF offer :woohoo:
Mar. 4 - fly home to snow. :sad1:

I'm off to Disneyland for the first time.

March 17-24 staying at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel....

I'd love to stay on Disney property, but we just can't afford it. This way we can walk and see DL from our room, even if we're not actually "in" the magic!

At WDW, I can see why staying on property is important. However, at DL, there's really no need to stay on property. There are a couple of off-site hotels that boast a closer walking distance to the main gate than the Disney hotels. DL resorts are so expensive that I know I'd rather save the money and put it towards a nice deluxe resort at WDW instead.

The HoJo is a great choice and gets so many great reviews. (TIP: Don't forget to eat at Mimi's Cafe next door for breakfast but sign up on their email closer to your departure date to get a BOGO breakfast coupon and other great coupons!)

Oooh, my ticker is looking better each day :goodvibes

Oh my, I have been so busy the last couple of weeks that I didn't even notice that we are now in double digits for our trip!!! 94 days until we check in at WDW and 92 days until we leave! :cool1:

Thanks! We splurged a little bit more and got a Disney View room. We're looking forward to that! And we'll definitely be eating at Mimi's. I want to take pictures of it, it looks so cute.

We are leaning at staying at Hojo as well but still am checking out a few places. I guess I should get at it because our count is under 80 days!!

I would agree about staying "off site" at Disneyland since everything is so close.

Have a great trip.

Oh have fun! Looks like the Best Western Park Place Inn is right across the road. I couldn't find anywhere to chose a room that faces Disney though (to be guaranteed), so I'm sticking with a farther walk, but a Disney view!
