Hello, everyone! I've been out of action lately. No one feels too sorry for me but I just got back from almost two weeks in Hawaii. For those of you in cold climes, this is the last I'll mention it.

Welcome to the new posters on our trip thread!

I did get to a computer for brief moments and did book the three excursions I really wanted. We are doing dolphins in Cozumel at Dolphinarius, Boatswains in Grand Cayman, and Castaway Rays in CC. We are passing on Palo this time so thanks for the pixie dust karma on giving me the dolphins in return.

Michelle, I read your post about the lost excursion reservations, panicked, swore and then found all mine as I had booked. Whew. I'm just glad you got what you wanted in return for the scare.

Here's my big score for the day: several posters on the DIS board said they did Priceline for Country Inn & Suites for $49 plus taxes. We already had a room booked there for $149 plus taxes. I just Pricelined and got the cheap rate - saved $100 for the same room! This is for Friday, March 19. More money to blow on excursions, thank you.

Last call for FE is February 20. Please let me know if you are interested but haven't let me or Michelle know yet.

Welcome! You bet you can join FE. I thought we were coming a long way from Portland to Port Canaveral but you win coming from Tokyo!

Michelle posted FE guidelines in a post earlier in this thread. There a specific directions also in the FAQ on the DIS Board. You can PM me if you still have questions.

There are 12 cabins participating in FE (including you) so the number is very manageable if anyone else is interested in joining.

Welcome everyone! Can't wait for the cruise!!! Marie, let us know if you have questions about the FE exchange after reading over some of the previous posts. Hope everyone is doing well Life is good but busy here! I thought I would slow down after the holidays but now it is basketball/cheerleading time in our household. I really need this vacation.

Your English is just fine and it is obvious you are trying really hard so do not worry about it! All of us will be united in one goal - having a great time on our Disney cruise - and that's a common language for all of us.

I(don) came real close to having to cancel this cruise; but all is doing better now. I had a heart problem (after 23 yrs in USAF; I thought I didnt have one lol) and spent 4 nites in a hosp til they get me squared away. as it stands right now you will still have to put up with us in about 60 days.

Angela (Wegs3000) and I have been trying to make sure the FE gift exchange list is up-to date. If there are any errors please let us know, because it was unintentional. If anyone wishes to be in the FE exchange, let us know that as well (the cut off to join in the FE exchange is Feb. 20 and will be here before you know it). Closer to cruise time we will send out a final list with stateroom numbers, but we just wanted everyone to have an idea of the group so far while you are getting your stuff organized for the cruise. I bought a lot of stuff already. I bought more stuff today. But I know I don't have enough for 38 people each day.Did we decide divide up the cabins for the FE so that we had less people to buy for or something? Or that we would only exchange on certain days? I thought I read it in an earlier thread, but I can't remember. It makes my brain hurt when I think about it.
I can't wait though, it'll be fun. It's like getting a visit from Santa Claus.

Lydia (vegaslover). Don't panic! You don't have to have enough gifts to give to 38 people everyday : ) Some people do only one gift for the whole week, others do 2 gifts and deliver them at two different times in the week- it is your choice. It also doesn't have to be a gift per individual. You could give one gift per stateroom or per couple. Some people may just give a baggie of goodies to each stateroom. It is your choice.

For example, my family is giving two gifts per stateroom and one individual gift to each child, (but my family also have a larger # of people with two staterooms). This is just how we choose to distribute our FE gifts. I am sure however you decide will be perfect.

Hi all!

It's been a while since I've been on, but don't worry, we've been thinking about the cruise EVERY day!

What are your ideas for cheap versions of fish extenders?? I'm trying to save as much moola as I can, so I can book another cruise while on board I am not crafty, so maybe a couple small fabric bags put together somehow? I think I read about that on another thread. I also know people have done paper bags, but not sure how well that will hold up. I guess as long as I have something out there to catch the goodies, right? We don't have our room number yet as we booked a Cat. 12 GTY.

Also looking at free stuff to do at each port, IF the kids even want to get off. They love the kids clubs so much!! We'll at least get off and explore each one.

We sat and cuddled in bed (all 4 of us!) last night and got on disboards and looked at some DCL pics threads. Just scrolling through all the pictures was so fun!
