We are so excited to be going on a Disney Cruise!! DH and myself are bringing DD4 and DD7mos, along with my DM and DF. Yippieee

Hi! I have been wondering if anyone else on the DIS was going on this cruise - I almost started a thread for it the other day! We just booked it on 1/17 - and we are very excited - it's just me and my DH. This is kind of like a late birthday present for me (b-day is 2/07) and also to make up for our first cruise that I took for my birthday two years ago (see signature; cruise turned out to be truly horrible - not DCL's fault though - I got a kidney stone - worst 4 days of my life!!!)

I am excited and can't wait to go!

Hello everyone... Im also so happy to be joining you all as well... This is the 2nd thread I found on this cruise so I guess I will post here as well....LOL.....Never have 2 many friends...This is our 10th Disney cruise I know its only a 4 day but need to get away for a few...In Fact its Just the wife and Myself this time we leave the 17 year old Daughter at home Cause she has school tests that week.. But I will make it up to her cause she knows she graduates this year and we are doing the 15 night Panama Canal cruise in Aug to bring the Magic home so she isnt giving us to much of a guilt trip for not taking her on the 4 day....LOL.... So this is cool... Cant wait to do some chatting and maybe a drink or 2...lol...Konch cooler anyone??? Have a great night everyone and chat soon...

Beaker: Also have a (nearly) 17 yo Daughter that will be staying at home this trip! Unfortunately I am NOT on the 15 day Panama Canal Cruise - WISH I was though, but her competitive soccer gets in the way, every time!

There is ice and snow here, so no thoughts of frozen drinks. We are starting the gathering phase of packing, pulling out all the summer clothes & swimsuits. We got my youngest's passport today (just went in last Saturday!) so the paperwork is all ready. We are waiting until Valentine's Day to suprise our almost 5 year old. This is our second Disney cruise.

Ok, I posted on a different tread but why not here too. This is my family's first disney cruise. This is our first cruise ever. It is my husband, 6 y.o. (she turns 7 on 3/3) daughter, 4 y.o. son and myself. I am an looking for any tips or things I should know. We are hoping it will be a magical trip because not only will my daughter turn 7 on the trip but it is her Make-a-Wish.

Well welcome aboard..... Wow first cruise ever and its on Disney.. You chose wisely...lol..... You will have so much fun and the kids will love it as well... They put a Navigator paper on your bed every night and tell you whats going on and Happenings around the ship.. Like when to meet and greet Mickey mouse and others or when to play bingo and the most important thing is hopefully what the Drink of the day is.....Hahahahahahaha... You also get one the day you check in so you know were to go and what time... If you have specific questions please feel free to ask.... Im not a know it all but have been on 9 Disney cruises ( OK yell at me for bragging but you would also if you were me) LOL........ Just not bring the Daughter this trip(shes 17) its just the wife and I.... Have a great night and we all need to spice this up... getting so excited now.... I even bought a new suitcase...wooo hoooo Lets hear it for JC Penny sales....lol......

O.K. found the "other" thread, so let's get packing! Soooo ready to go. was in Fla. on Sunday, what beautiful weather! So nice and sunny....did I mention it was also warm????? hope the first night on the cruise will not be to rough, went cruising in Sept, and had a very rough first night! Five out of six kids were tossing their cookies, NOT a pretty sight let me tell ya. this trip only my daughter is going for her sweet 16. She didn't get to go in Sept., so now it's her turn. she has special needs, and does not do well with a bunch of people (last time 21 family members went)so it's just her me, and my Dad if he is better by then.

Where is everyone??? Not many are posting... come on... its a small group of us..... Im sooooooo shopping this weekend need to get another pair of Sandles... Mine broke last trip...... Feb 23rd is my B-Day so going to stay at the Contemp for 2 days and for my B-Day dinner we are going to Narcooses at the Grand.... So I will start the Party on the 23rd till we hit the ship and party some more.....LOL

Anyone had to take one person off the cruise, and add another to take their palce? My Dad is the Fla resident, and he is VERY sick right now, don't think he will be well enough to go on the cruise so my brother who is also a Fla. resident has offered to take his place. I am going to call my TA tomorrow to see if this will be a problem. Anyone dressing for the Pirate night party? Can't wait to see the fireworks again!

I've been spending the last week typing in every rental car discount code I could come across. I finally think we have things in check. Nothing like super last minute planning.

Tink I hope all goes well for your father, and he is feeling better soon.

We booked 2 Cat 12 gty rooms (4 of us in one, two of us in the other) knowing we would be upgraded for at least one of the two rooms. Both were upgraded to Cat 10 on deck two. We were happy they are next to one another.

Are any of you making door signs? I am doing something simple (I don't have 6+ months this time to go elaborate). My daughter will be dressing up for pirate night. Not sure about the adults, is anyone else dressing up?
