Well, due to soccer, hockey, baseball, and work, it seems like our spring break is the best bet for our trip. Just how crowded should I expect it to be? We're staying at the Dolphin and usually do EE. I've already made the ADRs (thanks to Dreams Unlimited!).

Anyway, what should I expect?

It's a great time to go. It won't be dead by any means but it won't be super crowded. If you go any later in March you'll start hitting heavier crowds.

The weather is typically pretty warm during this time, with somewhat low humidity. However, it's a funny time because a cold streak can come through and it can be really cold. So in my opinion, it's a great time to go, just plan warm and cool clothing.

We were there that week 2 years ago and will be there again this year the same week. The weather last time was wonderful. Not too hot, not too cold. Low humidity. It did rain some (hey, it's Florida) and that made it chilly. Being from the south we don't do cold weather at all and needed a light jacket at night. Crowds were not bad and we really only waited 30 minutes or so on a ride if we felt like it and didn't have a fast pass. It is the only time I will go now.

My DD cheerleading group will be competing at WWoS and MGM on the 10th and 11th of March. So they will be leaving WDW on the 12th......a PERFECT time to be arriving :thumbsup2

i've nver been to florida then. but i know that that week is a week for spring break for college students. i don't know if alot of college students will be going to disney or not.

Concerning Spring Breaks, they're all over the place. My college is the week prior to the one in question, we're there from 2/28 - 3/11. Many others break closer to Easter. I second the opinion that this is a great time for weather and crowds ain't too bad either. There will be 2 fewer tourists when you get there (us!)

My DH has a convention in Miami the 11-13. I am trying like MAD to convince him we also need to to go WDW a couple days. My daughter even asked me if I could stand to be that close (compared to Minnesota, Miami is next door) and not go...I said it was not going to be easy! But she and I have a spring break trip planned to NYC the 17th so we'd have to go earlier for the convention and do WDW before heading to Miami. He is laughing at me since I will be there in about three weeks anyway for my April trip with mom. I don't think the addiction is ever gonna hit him! LOL Some people just don't have the Disney Bug! :wizard:

We were ther last year March 15-21. That was the most perfect week of weather ever! No rain, in the lower 80s by the afternoon to swim. I wish I could go again! And the crowds weren't bad. I think they were better than when we went in Oct.

I was there this past March from the 17th till the 20th. I picked those dates because I wanted to see a couple of the Atlanta Braves spring training games. The weather was great, and Cacker Jack Stadium was a hoot. However, there were plenty of Jr. High sports teams in evidence, along with plenty of cheerleading groups of the same age. But I had a good time, and the parks, while moderately crowded, weren't too bad. The only super crowded time I experienced was on St. Patrick's Day, Friday 17th, at Epcot. The park was packed during the evening EMH hours, and I left just to get away from the crowd.

I would not reschedule at this time of the year if I were not a big major league baseball fan. (I picked my dates because the Cincinnati Reds were playing while I was there.)

Enjoy.

Enjoy.

A majority of Texas schools are scheduled for Spring break March 12-16, 2006.

Last year we went and I think the entire state was there, not near as crowded as say 4th of July, but no dead either.
