We love love love RnR. It's better if you are taller because your head doesn't bang around but I've learned to kind of push myself to make me taller and then it doesn't bang as much

I'm not sure if you can request or not? We got lucky as you can see! They used to put you close if you had a diver's sign but they don't do those anymore.

30 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe we only have a month! I think 30 days is shorter than counting the weeks

I figured I would recap some of the past week and some Mickey Mail!

First of all, over the weekend, I went to a wedding reception for my cousin. It was a "beach" theme since they got married in Jamaica!

Overall it was a nice wedding reception, the food was good, the desserts were yummy, and the music was too loud but overall it was fun!



Last week, I finally made and printed a cover for my folder/binder. I don't have much in it except resort documents, travel documents, and my TIW info. I'll be printing off a few menus but not a ton since we don't need a ton this trip!

Yesterday when we got home, we got the mail and this little baby was in it!

I opened it and to my surprise not only did we get the booklet with the correct DME info..

But they also sent luggage tags even though I only put the DME for departure only..oh well! I'll have to hide those Poly tags!

Today we got the mail and this little baby arrived!

We won't be using the enclosed Photopass card but it was a nice gesture that we haven't gotten before!



NOW FOR THE BIG SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


WE UPGRADED TO AN OCEAN VIEW INN ROOM AT VERO BEACH!!!

My friend "D" was on her CM site looking for a room to possibly go to VB when we're there and noticed there was an Ocean View Inn room open. I told her immediately to book it for us and I'll cancel our Garden Studio room.

If you can believe this but mid June for Ocean View, we're only paying $33.33 more each night for the Ocean View! Overall, from our original ressie of rack rate, we're still saving $500 even with the upgrade!!!
I'm excited because once again we'll have 2 queen beds and not a queen + pull out!

I'm happy she was stalking her site and found that! They are unsure if they can afford to go for one night but will be in a studio if they do go since it's cheaper!


Other than that..nothing else is going on. I'll be back this weekend to update all the details again and reveal my packing list!!!!

I know! It literally went from being garden studio to ocean view inn, to garden studio with CM discount to ocean view inn with cm discount..crazy!

It was storming that night so I don't know..rain maybe? They had like flashing lights and stuff with the DJ so it could have been that too. I wish it were an ocean!

Thanks!!! I'll preface CR by saying we have eaten there many times so I guess that pretty much sums up how we like it but the service is always another thing of course!!

Your binder cover is adorable, I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to do another binder or if I'm just going to use the Toy Story folder I got from Walmart. I really liked putting together my binder last year, but I wasn't a big fan of actually using the binder!

I agree! I hardly use my binder once we are there even though I have gobs of menus in it but with technology of phones, it seems like you don't need to even waste the printer paper and ink for the copies! We don't have a huge schedule of anything except arrival, departure, and Universal so I'll do a mini schedule of the days but that's it. I'll use it more or less for the travel documents and not as a means of relying on it for day to day activities.

I've only been using a folder but one that has the 3 ring thingys in it in case I want to hole punch and put things in that way but it also has pockets too which is good for the DME documents!

It was pretty gross I agree and the fact that he still rode..come on now!!!

We've eaten at CR many times so I guess you can tell that we enjoy it lol.

EDIT: I tried to search for the 1992 POFQ pic and it isn't in the album I know we've taken pics out and in of there in the past years for graduation posters etc. so I'll try and search for it this weekend in the basement but hopefully we are able to find it!

I looked back at the trip pics and I have about 6 or 7 more updates till the March trip is done and 4 weekends till the June trip so time will go fast!!

LUNCH AT CORAL REEF!!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!

I'm sooo glad the weekend is here, the sun is back, the 80 degree temps are back, and we're not traveling this weekend!

With all the Pirates hype, we were going to wait till next weekend to go but now Dad might want to go tonight (and pay the night price is beyond me!) so we'll see what happens! I also want to see Something Borrowed and Bridesmaids too so it's a lot to look forward to!


SUNDAY MARCH 20, 2011

When I left off, we were parked at Epcot and were heading in for lunch at Coral Reef. We were supposed to do Le Cellier this day but due to bro's work schedule, we would be pressed for time so when I got one earlier in the trip, we changed the Coral Reef/Le Cellier days so he was able to eat at both places!

Our ADR was for at 12:15pm but we arrived at 11:30am.

When we got there a CM and a Manager were at the computers helping other guests with other dining locations inside and outside of Epcot since CR was booked that day. It was a great help for those folks but it created a line for those checking in...or attempting to I guess I should say and we ended up standing there a good 10 mins before we checked in. I asked the manager if it was okay if we checked in 30 mins early since my bro had to leave for work and he said no problem they could accommodate us!

Not expecting much in terms of location of our table since we checked in early..We were surprised/shocked to see that we were being seated in the first row right next to the glass!

The restaurant was empty when we arrived but was full when we left.

I guess I should have prefaced this by saying we have eaten here many times! We used to eat there pretty often when we vacationed, I ate there a few times when I lived there, and a few times after I moved away so it's a favorite for us but we only typically eat there if we are on a DDP.

We got our fish guide and started to explore!

Hasson was our server and he was pretty good! Not the best we've had but not the worst either!

We ordered our drinks and food (no appetz this time) and sat and was in awe!

Finally our food arrived after we had devoured 2 things of bread!

Mom and I had the Mahi which I LOVE!!!

Bro had the lobster ravioli since he was leaving for work and wanted something 'heavy' that would last him the whole day..he made a good choice!

After we devoured our meals we had dessert! I had the Chocolate Wave, bro-baileys, and mom-gellato.

Mom loved hers, bro loved his, and mine was good. I usually get it every time but for some reason the chocolate was not sitting well and I had wished I had gotten the gellato like I did last August..oh well!

The bill was $115 and we left a $21 tip.

Overall..another good meal and we'll return! Bro loved his lobster dish which was new for him and he'll get it again he said!

It was our last TS meal of the trip and that was a little sad!

After the meal, we said bye to bro and mom and I headed to Mousegears to shop!!!!


WOULD WE BREAK THE BANK LIKE WE ALWAYS DO OR SHOP LIGHT FOR ONCE???!!!!!!

Coral Reef....one of our favorites! Jasmine is a mahi mahi fanatic but I had the pork tenderloin on our last visit and it was so yummy! Isn't the chocolate wave delicious?
