Yeah and this is what it says for what we've all been waiting for:
If You're Reading This Story... YOU ARE 23!
03.10.09 - "Are you 23?" They may be just two small words and a number, but to Disney fans that came across the
D23 teaser campaign in the early days of 2009, they were the Disney equivalent of the Da Vinci Code! And all of us on the D23 team have to admit that watching Disney fans theorize, speculate and state with definitive authority about the meaning of our D23 teaser campaign proved to be a heck of a lot of fun!
A fan posted a magical moment in time from the "Are You 23?" teaser page on a popular Disney blogging site. He (or she) is totally 23!
It all began on December 21, 2008, when a JPEG of an "Are you 23?" poster unexpectedly appeared on LaughingPlace.com, a popular meeting place for Disney bloggers. "A reader sent us a picture of a poster that's started to appear around the Disney Studios lot in Burbank," the post said. "They don't know what the poster is for and neither do we. Do you?" One week later, with litle more than this singular shred of evidence, more than 20,000 unique visitors had already hit the D23 teaser site, clamoring for more information!
The teaser campaign which simply asked, "Are you 23?" and gave a URL of disney.com/23 continued to cause a groundswell of speculation on Disney blogs that has continued right up to today. And while some fans came close to hitting the target, most proved delightfully off mark (we're sharing some of our faves below)!
