Just booked this for March Break. This will be our 4th cruise, 3rd for Disney, 1st on the Dream. It will be me and my hubby and our 2 children. Jacob (14 at sailing) and Jenna (11 at sailing). My mom (ariella46) will also be sailing with us. We live in Toronto, Canada.



Let the countdown begin!! Can't wait for people to "come on board" so we can start planning.

Went to DCL site tonight, put in our dates and it didn't come up. SOLD OUT! Going to be a busy ship with lots of kidlets running around.

NO WORRIES!! The Dream is a BIG ship!

We were on her two years ago at the end of February. Not only did many New England schools have vacation but it was also around Mardi Gras so there was a huge contingent of New Orleans area folk who had a break that week too. I'm pretty sure it was a sold out ship too and had the same thought.

I was pleasantly surprised- other than the sea day when the pool area/deck was mobbed and the night of the pirate party when the deck was mobbed again and movement was limited due to where they were shooting off the fireworks- I didn't notice it much at all. I DID expect it to be bad- waiting for elevators, dinner taking longer, long lines to get into the shows but was pleasantly surprised- we didn't encounter any of that stuff.

As Crush says...just go with the flow and it will be a great trip!

Sounds like fun, will think about it. I am really overwhelmed right now with all the info available on this cruise And I can't even discuss it with DH as he does not even know yet.

There ARE a lot of Canadians on this cruise!

I went on the Dream for the first time in February 2010, and that trip was sold out too. The ship never felt all that crowded - the only thing I remember was long lines for the Aquaduck at certain times.

Anyone know much about the activities for adults? Any you'd recommend? Last time I had my grandkids with me and we were busy with kid activities most of the time.

It is up to you how you want to do it, so you could do one per stateroom if you choose. The list is on the first page, I think we have 15-16 staterooms. Around that number. If you decide to do it, I will add you and have you send me your email address with your stateroom number privately. I don't want to advertise everyone's names, ages and stateroom numbers on the boards, just doesn't seem safe to me. It is so much fun. My kidlets love coming back to the room and checking if we have "mail". Its so neat to get treats and gifts from all over (of course with this cruise it will be alot of Canadians, lol). I promise I won't do anything Canadian.

I love the amazing race theme, what fun!!!
