Anyone been at that time?
Does it clash with many Spring Breaker's ? (or is that later)

College spring break. We were there this year at that time, and it wasn't as bad as Easter, which a lot of schools tie in with the spring breaks.

Don't most college kids go to Daytona and Lauderdale etc (ie:coastal areas) ?
Does the college spring break dates differ from Public and High school dates ?

We were there this time last year and it was crowded, but definitely manageable. Just have a good plan and know what you want to do so that you don't waste a lot of time making those decisions at the park.

We decided to go the first week in March in '06 to try to avoid the spring break crowds. I'm hoping it works for us!!

We have been that same week as well, and it was very manageable. Any week from the first of March until the last of April is "spring break" for some school system or college somewhere. Depending on when Easter actually falls, stay away from that week since many schools/colleges are off at that time! The first couple weeks of March are not bad at all. (not sure when Easter falls in 2006)

College kids and their families go anywhere in Florida, not just Daytona and Lauderdale. My niece went with a crowd to a place in the Florida Panhandle. Kids can also take advantage of cheap condos in Orlando.

I've been 3 times during this time period and have little trouble. I never hesitate to go at this time.
