We have been trying to squize in a trip but work, school and all of us being sick keeps putting it off. Now its entering spring break and I just can't stand to wait another month before we go.

Should I suck it up and wait or will it be a little busy?

It will be Me DBF and our two girls 7 and 8

Thanks!

Just my opinion but I think March 10-13th is going to still be really early for the Springbreak crowds. Yes; some schools are going to be out BUT Easter is not until April 8th this year so Springbreak is still 30 days away for allot of folks. I also have been during SB 3 times now and am going back again this year. YES; it gets crazy. But it is still tons of fun and doable!!:cool1:

I don't think you're going to hit huge crowds. Most schools around here are having spring break later. Plus, I always use ability to book ariel's grotto as a rule of thumb and I just booked yesterday for lunch for next wed no problem at all. I'd say busy but not packed.

I hope this great weather holds out!!!

We'll be there March 10-13 (spring break in Colorado comes early!)

I, too, was very nervous about booking this trip over Spring Break. But in talking to Dining reservations a few weeks ago, he said they really start to get busy AFTER March 15. I'm sure levels will still be up, but not when California spring break is (mostly April).

We are going March 8-11 (we were hoping to avoid spring break crowds that I thought would be tied to Easter). I was hoping it would not be too crazy but I think it is going to be CROWDED! We were hoping to stay onsite but PP has been sold out for months, then DH got sold out, and in the last few weeks GC is completely sold out. Their rates were crazy expensive ($1300+) for the 3 nights we are going ever since we started planning many, many months ago. The last time we went, we stayed at the GC for $750 for 3 nights. We are going to try to do as much as possible on Thurs and Friday before the crowds show up for spring break.

We are headed there the first week of April and PP, GC and DH are still available. Interesting..... I wonder if this says something about crowd sizes. You would think that the first week would be busy but everything we book has open availability. The Hilton prices, where my brother is staying even had a dip in prices that week.

Heads up on those days. There will be a grad night on May 10-11th. My DD is going to be attending those dates. Not sure how much it will effect your stay? If you look up Hydroguys thread, you might get a better idea of what to expect. :thumbsup2

To the OP, you're not crazy at all! As a few others have posted already, the parks will be busy for sure, but not crazy busy. It's the start of spring break period, but definitely not the peak.

One of the best indicators of crowds is to look at the Annual Pass Blockout Calendar and look at March and April. You can see that the SoCal APs are blocked out from March 31-April 14, with SoCal Select APs blocked out from March 30-April 15. THESE are the dates I would avoid, if at all possible, as Disney considers this the peak period for Spring Break.

Good luck with the rest of your trip planning and I hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

It will be busier than normal. Both AZ and UT will be on spring break. Our kids are coming here with their families from AZ, and we will be there on March 12-13. It definitely won't be at it's peak, but it will be busier than normal.

Texas is on Spring Break that week as well. I'll see you there!

Same here!! We get there Saturday morning and will be at the parks Sunday-Tuesday! I've been playing with Ridemax and have made tentative plans and it doesn't seem to bad!
