Is mid march very crowded in the parks. I am hoping it is too early for the spring breakers.

'Moderate' is the term I'd use to describe crowd levels in Early March. My college will be on break then , which is why I'll be there, but most other schools break closer to Easter. It's a great time to be @ WDW. I can't comment on conditions after the 12th.

Many, if not most, of the schools in Mississippi are out for Springbreak March 12-16. That is when we will be there.

ive been the second week of march and its pretty crowded but not nearly as bad as the official spring break week

My best friend and I went to WDW during the last week of March a few years ago. We had absolutely no problems with the crowds at all!

Have a blast! :)

We go every year in March. It is busy, but not bad. The only time we ran into big crowd was the one year that Easter was at the end of March. We went the week before, and never again! We were in MK one day, and you could barely move in the area where Splash Mt was, and the wait was 2 hrs. I told DH " We are out of here!" - which is not me!

On the up side, the weather has never disappointed us. It's been great and never humid like later in the year.

Mid-march IS spring break for us and surrounding counties (FL), so I'd assume that is a heavy spring break time.

Almost all the Florida K-12 schools and colleges have Spring Break during the 2 middle weeks of March.

I think there was a poll on here awhile ago and it was somebody's spring break every week of March and April!

Its our spring break in Central Ohio the last week of march. We went last year for our very first trip and LOVED IT. The only time I couldn't handle the crowds was at AK. We are going again this year and I can't wait!!!! But seriously, the crowds were manageable. We hardly ever waited in lines, by using the FP's to their fullest. The only long line we waited in was for the Indy cars in MK. Boy, was that dull. What a wasted 45 min for that dog of a ride. LOL.
The weather, though, was FANTASTIC! First day was cool but clear. Jeans and a jacket. It got warmer each day until the final day when it was in the 80's. Not a drop of rain ever.
This year we are staying off property in a house, and only going to the parks four days, I think.
Anyway, I think March is a great time to go. :thumbsup2
