Would love to hear from someone who has done the Marceline to Magic tour recently...does it still include walking in the tunnels and going behind scenes in Haunted Mansion? Any specifics would be great, trying to decide whether to book for March. Thanks

We just did the tour this August and absolutely loved it!! It does include going behind the scenes at HM, riding HM, Winnie the Pooh, and Carousel of Progress. I liked it better that KTTKT because it really focused on Walt and his great dreams, story telling, and imagination. I would highly recommend it.

Have always been interested in doing one of these two tours, but I am concerned that it may take away some of the "Magic" of WDW. Thoughts from those that have done either?

We did it in May, we went behind the scenes at HM, and had a commentated showing at CoP, but no Pooh. I don't think it took away any magic, it almost made it seem more awesome, to see how some things are done.

Did it in the spring as well no pooh for us either but it was fun also did backstage magic in October 2013

Did it in August. Two other people scheduled for our tour didn't show up, so myself and my two teens had a private tour! Went backstage of HM and had the theater in CoP to ourselves, where our guide narrated commentary.

If you love HM, MTMK is your tour! I agree with @joanchris above--the behind the scenes stuff made it seem even more incredible.

I have taken KTTK twice, maybe three times, and WDMTMK once. Both are great, but for OP's question, I would recommend the latter. Both are great tours. WDMTMK is very interesting, enhances the 'magic', is not too long and well priced. Don't forget the discounts....AP, DVC and Disney Visa, all 15%.

I actually came away with much more magic, admiration and fascination related to WDW, so I would say go for it, it really is a wonderful tour. Our guide was so awesome, we really lucked out with that as well.

My wife & I have done quite a few tours including KttK. We never felt like the "magic" was diminished. Probably enhanced.
