Marathon Weekend, Theme park Ticket?

For Disney's Marathon weekend January 6-8, 2017. Do you need a Theme Park ticket to enter the races?

Can't seem to remember... Thanx

For the runs, no.

If you have a bib and want to run then no you do not need theme park admission during the run. For spectators you can view in the parks for a certain time period and then after that you need a ticket to be in a theme park viewing. There are many places on the route that are not theme park viewing though so you can watch runners go by for free from there.
