Wow. That expo was not fun. It felt…tense. We didn’t buy anything other than pins, a mug, the shoe ornament, and a medal hanger for DD. The only race-specific thing I liked was the HM hoodie.

Still an hour or so away, but I think we may just pick up bibs and go back another day for merch. I haven’t seen anything I have to have. Might buy the weekend spirit jersey or a Dopey tee if available later. Doesn’t sound like the chaos is worth facing today.

Did anyone have any at runner relations updating their corrals? With the extra corral I think people were expecting different waves based on previous races. Looks like all challenge runners’ waves are based on their longer race, regardless if they had better proof of time listed for the 10k/5k as well.

Just got an email from DVC about a member spectator area at Boardwalk for the marathon.

What time do we expect the crowds to disperse? Last year, I showed up very late, around 7:20 p.m., and there was no line for bib pickup or shirts. I got right into the merchandise area, although there may have been a line to check out. I’m working from my room, but need to pick up my bib sometime today.

That was my peeve about running the half with my son: we both had identical 10K times to use for the half, but since I was doing the Goofy, I needed a marathon PoT and didn't have one, so we would have been in different corrals. Never mind that I didn't care about my marathon corral, I simply wanted to run with my son, and without him dropping back to my corral.

I told the DW about the five or six pairs of shoes needed for MW. She just looks at me and says, "So basically like a girl". Um, no comment.

Disappointed as I went straight to expo from airport and wasn’t able to get a virtual queue spot at 1pm. It just immediately said it was closed. Now will have to make a second trip back to get my prepaid merch even though 2 cast members told me it wasn’t in the same place as the regular merch. It is. Ugh.
